"After an exceptionally stressful week, my husband sent me away to get some rest from work, home and the kids.. Your cabin was the perfect retreat! I spent a ton of time just enjoying the fabulous view and the hot tub. The bed was supremely comfortable and everything was decorated adorably. The propane stove was amazing after coming in from a hot tub. The only negative is that I had to leave! Highly recommend Gordons On Blueberry Hill for an exquisite dining experience!"

"For my second stay at The Perch, I came with several friends to celebrate my 40th birthday. We loved how clean, cheery and bright it was, perfect for a gray weekend in January. We also enjoyed the easy walking distance to a few favorite restaurants and shops. Memories of our weekend at the Perch bring a bright joy filled smile.
Also note the Perch is not just for ladies. My first stay was with my husband, who chose where we were staying, and he loved it too!"

"Overall, the cottage is well equipped and cozy. It is a bit musty and damp, but improves once the heat is on. We had a welcoming committee of four rabbits one night when we came back from dinner. We also enjoyed listening to the frogs at night and black birds during the day. Place is quiet, and we felt safe.
It would be nice to have an extra set of bath towels when staying more than one night, but that's minor."

"This home was the perfect location for my week long stay over the Christmas holiday. I've booked quite a few stays in beautiful places but I have to say that this one topped them all. I'm going to try to not repeat everything others have said but I have to reiterate that this house does indeed have "magical" views. Waking up in the comfortable queen bed in the master suite upstairs, I found myself not wanting to leave the bed, instead reading and sipping coffee in bed, looking out at the still waters of the Sound and across to Bainbridge Island. The owner was incredibly accommodating, bringing a small Christmas tree over, as well as purchasing some cooking utensils and dishes I may need to serve Christmas dinner to my family. Everyone who visited marveled at my find! One note that I didn't see posted and would have been helpful: At low tide, the beach exposes rocks with sharp barnacles, which can tear up dogs' paws when they run. We had a minor first aid emergency with Sophie, my kids' lab, who loves to run and swim, and who injured her paws. Thankfully, the owners had first aid supplies and Sophie was able to enjoy the rest of her stay. I'll be booking this again...perhaps a bit earlier during the holidays to enjoy the boat parade!"
