  • Wonderful time at Gladwin Beach House!

"We were delighted with our stay at the Gladwin House. Lance met us there and made sure we had access to everything and knew how to work things. That was very helpful and it was really nice to meet the owner of this lovely home. We enjoyed using the kayaks, the jacuzzi was especially nice. What a wonderful view we had sitting on the deck in the jacuzzi! We were amazed by how many bald eagle we saw just while sitting on the front deck. When the tide is low the Eagles come and sit high in the trees and swoop down to the tidelands. What a treat! Everything about the house was perfect for our trip with our son and his wife. Ai Ling and Lance even made sure we had cable so we could watch the World Cup soccer matches while we were there. Thanks for everything, we hope to return!!"

  • Rent This House!

"We LOVED this home! Beautiful, well stocked with all the basics, incredible views, neat as a pin! The fire pit and chairs on the beach were crazy beautiful. The ferries and ships passing by = incredible. Amazing views of Seattle and all around. Just a short drive into the town of Winslow. We were absolutely thrilled with this rental and would stay there again in a heartbeat. The owners were very easy to work with. Thank you SO much for sharing your lovely home!"

  • Sweet and cosy

"A very cute little cabin in the middle of some huge cedar trees. Special touches with games and great books. Small, but perfect for the two of us, great bed and linens. This is actually one long room with a small divider to create a "bedroom". I am not sure how it could sleep four, there is a fold up bed but it looked small. Maybe they are counting the couch? I would have appreciated some better hanger space, there is no closet, just a dressing cabinet. Used products in the bathroom was a bit odd. No soap or shampoo."

  • "Christmas" Weekend

"We had a wonderful stay at the Island House. The house is well equipped and maintained. With Martha's list of things to bring and not bring we were well supplied for our weekend stay. It is such an interesting house with so much to look at inside and plenty to explore on the outside. We were ages 9 mos to 60+. Took a short ride down to the state park and did some beach combing. Appreciated the environmental conservation encouragement at the house -- same as at home."
