Perfect Brilliant Stillness (One of my favorite titles)
"The cottage is an architectural wonder and beautifully kept. Deer grazed through the yard. Such amazing peace and tranquility. I visited the nearby town of Langley, which is always a joy, and spent many hours in the Earth Sanctuary. Simple quick journeys for anything you might need... or for unique adventures on the beach, in the forest, or novelty shopping. A beautiful experience!"

"We have stayed here several times over the years and it never disappoints! The owners have thought of every detail to make your stay fun and relaxing! Our family of 7 comfortably stayed here for the weekend...the view was awesome, the kids and adults enjoyed the hot tub and huge wrap around deck, the city dogs enjoyed running around in the big yard and the beach was right down the hill. Everyone had a blast and we recommend this place to all of our friends. We will be back again soon!"

"We had a nice time. The house was fully stocked with everything that was needed, and amazingly even a potty seat for the 2.5 year old. All we had to bring was our food and personal items. We enjoyed seeing the deer up close in the yard and clam digging when the tide was out. Every bedroom had cable television and a private bath, so it was easy to divide and choose bedrooms with no one feeling like they got the short end of the stick. The island, while close to Seattle, still felt like a vacation retreat far away from "the real world". We visited several beaches, checked out real estate, and went to Fort Casey for exploring, bike riding and kite flying. The only minor criticism I could come up with would be to have a microwave oven instead of the confection oven, which we could not get the hang of using, so we popped corn on the stove instead. Otherwise I was amazed by the thoughtfulness of the potential needs and clear cut instructions/information provided. There are stairs up and down to all bedrooms (except one) and to beach access, which may be limiting to some people. We came in the summer, but I can imagine that this would make a nice winter retreat as well. Overall an enjoyable experience."

"My wife and 2 year old son and I stayed for a week and loved it. It was so peaceful. The tides coming and going and back country roads with the windows were wonderful. They set up all the gates for our little guy and it made it really easy and he loved playing with all the trucks and pre-stocked toys. Big bonus for parents. We only ate out one night and cooked there most nights and they had everything needed down to a blender for the homemade salmon chowder we made. My only suggestion would be a humidifier. We ended buying one as the heat really can dry out the space. Freeland is a quick drive away. We felt secluded but close enough to Freeland and there's a great back road to Langley. The shopping centers have all that you need and there's a good playground down in Freeland. See you again soon."
