"Absolutely the most relaxing place to be from scenery to the bath oils for the soaking tub. Every detail was met from the flowers to even spices in the kitchen. Loved the chalk welcome sign on front porch The house lay out was perfect for 6 adults and 4 kids. Wish I was still there. Ian saw to every detail. Best home we ever rented"

"My husband and I stayed here for a week. It was even better than the pictures showed. The house is comfortable and the view incredible. We enjoyed watching all the activity with the ferry, the cargo ships, fisherman, etc. Saw a seal right out front fighting with the seagulls over a fish. It's close by to Coupeville and Freeland. 3 of our daughters, a son-in-law, and 2 grandsons came over Sunday and we enjoyed the ferry ride to Port Townsend, and they all (even the adult kids) loved the fort out front.Joan was great to work with and we hope to come back many times in the future."

"We have stayed here before (about 4 years ago) and really enjoyed the summer months. This time we risked a September week, and the "rain shadow" came through for us. Very quiet, all the comforts of a full house, enjoyed using the wine bottle opener, and even had a warm night for a fire in the pit and some marshmallow roasting. Great walks with the dog ensured his "out like a light" attitude. It was a quick trip to Stanwood and to LaConnor for poking around some unique shops and just making sure we felt like we "got away from it all." Would recommend this property for couples, or for small families. Large King Size en suite bedroom, plus a smaller one with two twins and access to the hallway full bath. Suzanne does a great job keeping the place up and providing everything and anything you might need."

"The house was incredibly comfortable and very cool! It was clearly designed with a lot of love by people with a really warm and cozy and open asthetic. The kitchen was very well designed and well appointed--plenty of room for several people to cook and others to hang out and chat and not be in the way of the chefs. It was a really wonderful space to spend some time as a group and condusive to large group games (the house was well stocked with board games!) and socializing while still giving everyone a sense having private and quiet space. The stained glass window and wood accents were just beautiful. The hot tub was great also. Martha responded quickly and was very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. Really everything was just lovely and we couldn't have been happier."
