  • eagle perch

"Great view to the east over water and Camino Island. Mts. Bakers and Rainier were visible for several days. The south central location at Greenbank made for easy drives to several sandy beaches. The local beach is rocky and requires some athletic ability to traverse the ravine path. One neat feature was several families of quail feeding on the back lawn at evenings. Conveniences are relatively close. The house was well appointed and only required knife sharpening and a new can opener. We thought it was good value for the price."

  • A Beautiful Stay

"Our family stayed here over Thanksgiving and walked the rainy beach, played games, and enjoyed the fantastic view. A wonderful place with a very helpful and thoughtful manager. I would certainly recommend it to those who want a sophisticated escape from the city in an elegant home."

  • Eagles Landing was the perfect escape!

"My significant other and I were looking for a secluded, relaxing, peaceful place to celebrate our anniversary and both our birthdays. We are both from the PNW and did not want to travel far. For us it was a short drive and ferry ride. This was the perfect place, set far back in the woods in the most beautiful location. From the story of how Eagles Landing came to be, the hard work and love that two best friends put into this place, it was just incredible. Neither of us wanted to go home. It didn't matter if it rained or shined. Hearing the rain hitting the roof while having the fireplace stoked was exactly what we were looking for. I personally loved the bathroom and the old claw tub. There are no curtains or blinds, really they are not needed. While soaking in the tub you can watch the birds fly from tree to tree. Everything listed in the description was very true but to see it in person is even better. The owner was most helpful and we visited a few of the recommended cafe's etc. I cannot wait to go back. We were looking up dates before we even left."

  • Cute and comfortable cottage

"This met our two main priorities--dog friendly and very comfortable bed. The cottage is well maintained inside and very cute/clean. The outside and grounds have seen better days but this was not of concern to us. We used it as base camp for island exploring with our two dogs. My husband called it the hobbit house (small door, low ceiling when you first enter). He is tall but it was fine. One thing to note is that it is quiet even though right off the main highway. Pulling into and out of the property is a bit challenging due to fast moving traffic. We enjoyed our stay and it met our basic needs. The bedroom is large and obviously remodeled-- the bed was fantastic. They have towels and blankets to make the furniture pet friendly. We recommend this cottage."
