"The first thing I'll say is that the descriptions and photos that the owner has listed are very accurate. We spent last week at this wonderful house with our family - three adult couples and one teenager. Everyone was happy being there. The house is beautiful, the kitchen a great place to cook (we ended up cooking at home more than we had planned because it was so much fun). I think our favorite time of the day turned out to be coming back in the late afternoon and having our cocktails and dinner on the deck, often while observing the resident bald eagle catching fish! I could say a lot more great things about this house, but I'll finish by saying the owner/manager was friendly, helpful and responsive when we had a (minor) problem. It was fixed rapidly. Couldn't have been a whole lot better."

Had a great weekend with my sons and daughter-in-law
"I took two of my adult sons and my daughter-in-law for a birthday trip. We love Whidbey Island and have stayed at other places previously, and this was definitely a great place for us. The water views were spectacular, especially in the morning. We are all active, so the short hike down to the beach (this property is on a high bank) was pleasant and allowed us to get some exercise. The street is quiet, which is a nice change from the city noise we usually deal with. Watching a seal play in the water was a treat.
The house had everything we needed, and we had some top flight meals as a result without having to hunt up a restaurant. The deck looking over the water is a great place for breakfast and barbecues. My daughter-in-law kept saying how much she liked Eagle's Perch and posting photos to Facebook, so I'm sure it was a hit."

"Rented over holiday weekend, 4th of July. Couldn't have asked for a better location. My kids loved the trail/steps down to beach. Search for seashells and sea creatures every morning as tide was down. Steps are 89 to be exact. Elderly may have issues with steps down but kids and anyone relatively fit will find it fun. House was perfect. Even had condiments that i forgot to buy. The loft was a treat for the kids. They thought it was "specially" made for them. Great getaway. Quiet, best location, awesome sunsets and overall just perfect! Greg was a pleasure to work with and very friendly and willing to help with anything. Thanks for sharing your home!"

Lovely house, great westerly view, lots of birds to watch
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. We were immediately struck by the wonderful westerly view of Puget Sound and the Olympics. The house is centrally located on Whidbey Island which made it easy to explore the island.
Our friend, who is a bird watcher, was pleased to see so many different birds in and around the well stocked feeder near the deck. There was comfortable seating on the deck to watch the birds and enjoy the view.
The kitchen was well appointed which was important as we cooked many of our meals.
We would definitely recommend these accommodations."
