  • Thanksgiving Treat!

"We stayed at this amazing home for 6 nights. We had a mix of friends and family for a total of 12 people on any given night. We had an infant, preschooler, high schoolers, and grandparents in the mix. We arrived late on Monday night to a well lighted and warm home. The entire house seems to have radiant floor heat which was a huge blessing to my elderly mom as she gets cold easily. There was a welcome basket from Max (caretaker) full of local goodies and brew! Max and his wife even vacated the bottom apartment to allow more sleeping space. The family with the infant used that space. The "cottage" was used by our 2 teenagers. They enjoyed having their own space. The home is amazing! Every corner holds a creative secret or interesting artifact. We could have stayed there for 2 weeks and never discovered all of it's glory. Our 3 year old grandson marveled at the train set which provided hours of entertainment. The kitchen is wonderful and fully equipped. Specifically, the gas cook top! The master bedroom mattress was the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Even when the electricity went out, we enjoyed family games by candlelight and warmth by the fireplace. Even though theweather was mostly windy and rainy (which is expected for this time of year in Washington), our teenagers still tried to brave the waters with our blow-up kayaks. This lasted about 5 minutes as the waves were pretty big and common sense prevailed. Teenagers will be teenagers. Speaking of teenagers, when the electricity was out, our teenage boys found their more primal side and started a fire in the outdoor fire pit. The sunsets were indescribable. So amazingly beautiful. Thank you Stevenson family for providing our extended family a place to be together for Thanksgiving!"

  • Convenient location

"Very nice, clean condo conveniently located in Bellevue. Stayed here while I was at a conference for work. Way better value than staying in a hotel."

  • Beach Paradise!!!

"Fantastic stay here at The BEach House. We came with 2 families and 3 kids under 5. We explored the beach, combed over the endless driftwood, relaxed on the patios, and went for awesome little day trips around the area. Fantastic location and Jack is a super helpful host. Recommended!"

  • Perfect getaway for families!

"I hesitate to write this review only because I want to keep the knowledge of this hidden gem all to myself. This house was simply perfect for our family of 7 (we have 5 kids under 7 years old). The inside of the house was comfortable, kid friendly (there were no low placed knickknacks for us to have to rescue from our toddler), and provided plenty of places for all of us to sleep comfortably. The upper bunk beds do not have a guard rail, so we weren't comfortable letting our kids sleep on those. But they loved the two lower bunks and the large air bed (there are tons of air beds and sleeping bags in the upstairs closet). Our kids absolutely loved the closet filled with kid and adult board games, and we spent 2 late nights laughing and playing games. The kitchen had everything we needed, including plastic plates and cups for kids. There were plenty of blankets and pillows for everyone. The absolute best part of this property is the proximity to the beach. It is literally steps away. Yet the property is fully fenced, making it possible to keep rambunctious little ones safe. Our kids loved digging in the rocks in the yard. We made a fire in the fire pit and enjoyed hot dogs and marshmallows. There is also a large grassy field right next to the house perfect for kite flying. The island itself is wonderful. We explored Double Bluff beach (amazing sandy beach) and Fort Casey. Everyone in our family is talking about when we get to go back to the beach house - mom and dad included!"
