"Perfect place for families to get away, relax and play! Easy acces to the lake, great water temp for swimming, kayaking, and water play. Nice overall setting. The house is huge and has lots of space. Plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms, although the shower situation doesn't make much sense. One in the master bedroom and then one to share with rest of family. The shared bathroom is a good size but the shower itself is a chore. It's small, you have to point shower head towards wall to avoid getting water all over the floor, making it a challenge and not so comfortable to shower in. Further more, if you're an adult, it could pose more challenges depending how big you are? Showers for two don't work well. Lots of beds, movies, games, wifi - we felt like we were in a home away from home. Kitchen has most everything needed to cook and clean. This was our second stay and we really love it here. Definitely a great place for some family lake fun and relaxation. We lucked out on the weather :) Would highly recommend!"

"My fishing buddy (from Denver) and I spent 6 days in this cabin for our annual fishing trip. Last year was a week on the North Platte in Wyoming. While this did not equal the quality and quantity of fish caught in Wyoming, it excelled in cabin comfort and area excellence. The town is conveniently located, adequate eating establishments, interesting locations (Northwest Wildlife Center and Rainier NP), and numerous fishing lakes in the vicinity in addition to Tanwax. Our fishing effort did allow us to catch (and release) at least one of each species in Tanwax. Most of the bass were small and the trout were quite deep as the water was much warmer that I expected. I did manage to land an 11 inch trout on a large spinner lure while fishing for bass. The only fish that were not released were about 10 crappie which were our dinner guest one night. These were caught off the dock just after sunset.
An additional treat was observing the 2-3 eagles who apparently share a tree near the cabin. Their antics provided much entertainment while fishing or enjoying breakfast on the deck."

"Stayed with 5 other ladies and everyone enjoyed the unique house and fabulous views. We all had plenty of space and the house had everything we needed and more. The owners were great at helping with directions and planning of activities, the ladies especially enjoyed our trip on the ferry. Thanks for the recommendation. We also enjoyed the driveway, I think a couple of my passengers closed their eyes as we came and went each day. Thanks for making our trip a fun and memorable one!"

"We rented this place for a church women's retreat for 14 women. The beds were really comfortable to sleep in and the kitchen was big enough for us to prepare food. We utilized the grill and brought our own firepit to have a fire. The outdoor deck both upstairs and downstairs were beautiful, with a partial view of the water. The neighborhood was very quiet and conducive for bible reading and time to pray. This place was such a blessing for us and would highly recommend it. It was very spacious and easy to clean up."
