"A beautiful view of the harbor and quiet escape. The house has many great features including the most comfortable bed, cooking area, fireplace that heats the place quickly, and laundry facilities. Be prepared to walk downstairs to the bathroom as it is on the first floor... better to not go to the gym during your holiday! Thank you to the owners for coming down and sorting out the cable when it went out the first day and providing a fantastic basket of goodies for a warm welcome. Cheers."

"I am originally from Gig Harbor and I couldn't wait to come back and visit with my parents and siblings. The house fit us all comfortably, and the views were gorgeous. The home had everything we needed. We had a great stay and we wished we could have stayed even longer. Thank you, Lynette!"

"I stayed for 8 nights in this incredible beach house last March for my mom's 90th birthday party and returned in September for my birthday! This time my husband was available to join me, and it was definitely a return to Paradise.
You feel like you're on a large houseboat without the rocking, since the high tide comes splashing almost to the edge. Mount Rainier was visible for most of our stay, always a remarkable sight! The weather was cool, but that didn't keep us off the fantastic deck, snuggled up in the cozy blankets provided. We really did not want to leave during our 4-night stay, and rarely did. The kitchen is very well equipped (as is the rest of the house), so you really don't need to leave if you've brought provisions with you, although I would recommend taking a break once in a while to lunch at the Tides and Netshed No. 9, both with good food and great views on the harbor.
Thanks again, John, for another awesome visit to your gorgeous home! We will certainly return as often as possible."

"Family from four states gathered together at Harbor Hideaways to attend a wedding in Gig Harbor. The house and cottage accommodated our group exceptionally well. We loved the fire pit on the patio. The path to the beach is steep but did not stop my husband from packing down his rowing skull for a row on the sound each day. The blackberries were abundant and made a delicious pie! Wedding events kept us away from this serene setting. We could have spent all our time just enjoying the view and being together. Thank you again for a wonderful place to gather."
