"I hosted a family reunion at this lodge with 31 people. Exactly eight couples had rooms to themselves, with ample space for as many as 2 or 3 young children sleeping in the room with them. The lodge has a large open format kitchen and dining area where all 30 of us could eat, play games, and enjoy conversation. The kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil we needed for several days of creative cooking, which was really important for us. Furthermore, the pond, decks, and lawn made a perfect setting for our weekend: swimming, spikeball, volleyball, hot-tubbing, and indoor basketball were all activities that we enjoyed. I thoroughly recommend this space to anyone interested, and especially to those interested in hosting large groups of people. In our four days there, I couldn't even get my family to leave the house and see Seattle - we were having too much fun at the house."

"Family from four states gathered together at Harbor Hideaways to attend a wedding in Gig Harbor. The house and cottage accommodated our group exceptionally well. We loved the fire pit on the patio. The path to the beach is steep but did not stop my husband from packing down his rowing skull for a row on the sound each day. The blackberries were abundant and made a delicious pie! Wedding events kept us away from this serene setting. We could have spent all our time just enjoying the view and being together. Thank you again for a wonderful place to gather."

"8 women stayed in this beautiful home. It was very welcoming and comfortable and easily accommodated all of us. Its an older home that comes with wonderful character. We loved it and would love to stay there again. We would sit outside and watch the tide come in and it was all just very relaxing and quiet. Warren was amazing and responded quickly to all my calls/emails and was very attentive. Thanks!"

"Mt husband and I rented this home with our 4 young children (ages 1-9) and we absolutely loved it. I grew up just a few houses down so I had a specific criteria for a rental in Gig Harbor and this home exceeded our expectations. We ate most meals on the back porch and enjoyed having family and friends over because of the ample entertaining space. We rented the cottage for my mom to stay in so it was a perfect set up.
The kitchen is very well stocked and the gas grill was perfect for grilling oysters Rockefeller from the oysters we picked up in front of the house!
The beds are not very comfortable, but we were so tired after full days of activity that it wasn't a big deal.
It was also a great location to use as a base for exploring surrounding attractions-we drove to Mt Ranier and Quinalt Rainforest.
The town of Gig Harbor is beautiful and quaint."
