Couldn't imagine better breakfasts or hosts...great value-delightful experience.
"We stayed 3 delightful nights at the Parsonage with another couple while exploring Gig Harbor for the first time. This home is clean, welcoming, very comfortable and is tastefully appointed. The location is an easy walk to town where we explored the farmer's market, diverse shops and the harbor. Happy hour on the Tide Tavern deck and a tour of the harbor with Destiny Tours were probably our favorite experiences. What makes this bed and breakfast exceptional are the hosts and their attention to details in caring for their guests. They are sensitively hospitable and make the best breakfast in town. We enjoyed the artful presentations, excellent and generous food together with just the right amount of engaging conversation. The grounds were inviting, creative and restful. We recommend the parsonage and would come again without hesitation. Thank you, John and Mary."

"This home was a wonderful escape for our family during spring break. We visited the Seattle/Tacoma area to tour local colleges as well as visit the various zoos, aquariums and museums. It provided us a quiet, calm and relaxing place to start and end our busy days. The owner lives nearby and was so welcoming and helpful. She understood and accommodated when we asked for a later checkout time. As other reviewers have said, there are a lot of stairs, so be aware of this when you pack! They are well lit at night and have slip resistant steps, so even during the infamous rain they felt safe."

"Great place, great location - Dave (owner) is very responsive. The home is great - everything is clean, nothing broken. The backyard hammock was a favorite, as was having dinner on the back deck. Next time we're through that way, I'll definitely check and see if we can stay there."

"My husband and I needed to be in the Tacoma area for work and could not have chosen a lovelier place to spend the month of June. The owners, Laura and Marty, are gracious and quite fun! I enjoy cooking and was never in need of anything while preparing a meal- the kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. When I did not want to cook, it was easy to choose a restaurant from the many within walking distance. Walk a block to Fireman’s Park or just a bit further to Dock Street to enjoy not only water views, but also a picturesque view of Mt. Rainier. The bed is big and comfortable- a comfortable bed is important! Though a car is not necessary, Seattle, Mt. Rainier, Gig Harbor, and many wineries and breweries are easy to access with one. We live over 2,000 miles way and look forward to our next visit!"
