"This property is amazingly located for the most peaceful and serene stay. The house is very clean and updated, with a well equipped kitchen and lots of amenities. The view is beautiful from the huge front windows that overlook one of the inlets into the Puget Sound. We enjoyed our stay so much we were sad to leave!!!!"

"I booked the Manor and stayed there with my extended family for a week in June of 2015 and had a wonderful time.
Misty was incredibly responsive - any time we had a question she seemed to be available and responded very quickly (by phone, email or text message). With a staff member close by, we were never far from assistance when we needed it , although anything we did need was very minor as the house has pretty much anything we could want and grocery stores were close by.
The house itself is very nice as long as you are not expecting hotel quality. We wanted a family place and the Manor exceeded our expectations. When the addition was made to the old farmhouse it must have been magnificent and obviously no expense was spared.
The patio and pool area are phenomenal! I have never seen a deck as large and we could have have easily had 50 people on that deck - it was incredible and the outdoor kitchen was amazing. There are folding tables and chairs that we set up on the deck for dining which accommodated everyone with lots of room to spare. There were far more tables and chairs available than we ever used.
The pool is long and narrow which was perfect for our us and our kids and we spent many hours in the pool and then sat in the hot tub in the evenings looking at Mount Rainier - a wonderful experience.
There are 5 bedrooms with multiple beds in each room so many more than needed for the 10 of us but we would have had less privacy so it was great for us. We did take some pillows off the extra beds because we like more pillows but with so many extra beds available, that wasn't a problem.
I was a bit concerned before we left about the availability of bathrooms but the 2 large full bathrooms upstairs (with in-floor heating) and the 1 powder room on the main floor were definitely sufficient.
There were also lots of fluffy white towels and we never ran out.
My grandchildren took advantage of the games room and the basketball net so they always had something to do.
The location was amazing as well - the view of Mount Rainier and the easy access to so many amenities - Great Wolf Lodge, Olympic National Park, Wild Waves and great shopping. We also went into Olympia and had a wonderful lunch on the waterfront after a 2 hour hike on a wonder local hiking trail.
We had an amazing time and would recommend The Manor to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing get away.
Thank you Misti for your hospitality!"

"I almost hate to recommend this place as much as I'm about to. Don't want it booked solid next summer!
This beautiful home is far enough away to feel remote, yet close to Seattle and shopping in nearby West Olympia.
Among its many features:
*Stunning view, right on the inlet
*Immaculately clean inside and out
*Very well equipped - everything you'd need for a short or long stay
The owner was staying next door. She introduced herself, brought us a wonderful bottle of wine, and that was the last we saw of her. Not intrusive at all. The walk to the beach was down a flight of easy stairs. A landing above the high tide line held a canoe, a kayak and two chairs. The outdoor fireplace just outside the kitchen was perfect for late-night s'mores. Comfortable bedding, generously sized kitchen, plenty of parking.
Recommend Steamboat Grill and Greens (formerly Steamboat Annie's) for a quick take out meal. Also, Island Market for basic needs, even has fresh meat and produce. Both are less than two miles from the property.
Insider tip: watch walking out to the water at low tide...the soft mud can be like quicksand if you're not careful. Bring some sturdy beach shoes for walking over clam shells and barnacles. (Oh and don't be too attached to them if you know what I mean.)
Everything was exactly as advertised and more. Dealings with owner were pleasant and professional. Damage deposit refund processed promptly. I would most definitely return!"

"The only down side was that we made plans to do so much that we ended up away from The Cedars on all but two days! The house was excellent with a fantastic view. We were there at the height of jellyfish season, and with the row boat, were able to see not only giant swarms of Moon jellies, but Fried Egg jellies hunting them! The Cedars was well stocked - we have to hand it to Vicki and Amir for providing a place that was just about as perfect as could be! All we had to do was just add food and people!
Nice, quiet, and tucked away - The Cedars was a great time. If you're looking for somewhere that is isolated but with all the modern twists - this is the place. It is a bit of a drive for Olympic National Park, as well as Seattle, and is roughly 15 minutes (to an hour if you don't account for timing traffic to avoid rush hour) from the grocery stores in Lacey/Olympia - but so long as you're stocked with food and ready to go - this place is a don't miss. (We actually drove to Bremerton and took the ferry to Seattle just to avoid all the traffic through Tacoma. Much better way to go, and cool to take a ride on the ferry!)
Excellent all around and beautiful to boot. Thank you, Vicki and Amir, for offering such a great place to stay!"
