"Such a great weekend getaway house. Far enough to feel like you are away from city life, but close enough for those quick after dinner ice cream runs to DQ. :) My family came here to celebrate family birthdays and had such a great time. We loved using the 2 kayaks and canoe that the owners have on the property and explored the surrounding areas, especially when it was high tide. Views are breathtaking, especially on a sunny day. House is right on the water, just steps away from the beach and there is a nice grass yard where you can play games. Owners were very accommodating and friendly, making sure that you have everything you need and even offering more than normal. We loved that they are pet friendly and enjoyed visits from the neighbor dog who we fondly referred to as "Bear." :) Such a great location for family reunions and can accommodate large groups of people easily. Thank you for sharing your lovely cabin!"

"We rented the house for our family vacation, 4 adults and 4 children. The house can comfortablely accomendate two more adults and two more children. It's a beautiful house (and tastefully decorated) right on the beach. We had a great time enjoying swimming in the bay and playing on the beach. The kitchen is well equipped, 3 bathrooms are enough to avoid jam, the laundry room is spacing for folding...
We had a little incident when we first arrived - the alarm wasn't turned off, the ear piercing sirense went on and off for almost a half hour without being able to turn off with the code we were given. The place had very weak cell reception, so the calls we made to the agent and the agent made to us were not received. Thanks to the very helpful neighbor who came and set it off. The owner and agent were very gracious, even offered compensation. But we didn't feel the 30 minutes stress should grant us such a payment when the pleasure we got out of the house was so overwhelming!"

"We had a family reunion here with 2 families with children and one set of grandparents. The house is great, the location is in a nice relaxing area. It was really fun to watch the swell of water on the bay, dig for clams and watch the seal swim out front. The house was probably a little on the small side for 4 kids ages 3-9 but that is not a fault of the property, just an FYI! The house does look down the bay toward a paper mill but it wasn't obtrusive visually. Overall, a lovely visit that felt simultaneously close to resources and as though we were in a remote setting."

"The Bungalow is a great spot for 2 people! We stayed on 4th of July weekend, and were very satisfied with the accommodations. The grounds outside are truly special as there is a water feature you can float in, horseshoes, a garden, etc. Everything is maintained perfectly. The surrounding areas aren't the most picturesque, but you are so removed inside these private grounds that you don't even notice. The only caveat is that in the summer months it can get a little warm. Adding some screen doors to get the air circulating inside would be my only suggestion. Other than that, I would highly recommend Gerry and the Bungalow!"
