"Spent all of June here, visiting our daughter's family (including our new grand daughter!) who live nearby. The neighborhood is a very comfortable residential area. We enjoyed just strolling the area including Sunset Hill (stunning views) and Salmon Bay parks. Downtown Ballard is charming and fun, lots of food and eclectic shopping, including the Sunday Farmer's Market.
Green Lake park (great park, lots to do and see), movies theaters, grocery stores all within a few minutes. Most important, golf nearby, including a really fun little pitch and putt course at Green Lake.
The apartment itself was a pleasure. Very light and open with a well equipped kitchen, full size dining table and spacious living room. No stairs! Parking was not a problem at any time, not usually the case in a city. The bedroom was roomy, the bed was comfortable (hooray!), closet space more than adequate. Having the washer/dryer was a real plus. We found the apartment maintained a pretty steady, comfortable temperature, even through the warmth of a record setting June.
The owners were friendly and available but not intrusive. The whole experience was terrific. So much so that we booked our return visit before we left. Enough said. Amanda and Eric...well done...and thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us."
