"Exceeded our expectations to the fullest. Cozy, warm convenient and beautiful are the best words to express our delight in this place. Convenient Capital Hill location put us close to our kids and grand kid and made our trip to Seattle the best ever."

  • Anniversary Weekend

"We spent our 22nd anniversary in Seattle. Did not rent a car...bus stops very close. We went everywhere we wanted on the bus or the light rail, even to the airport This apartment was great! Walking distance to shops, coffee houses and dining. Our favorite restaurants were Coastal Kitchen on 15th Ave for dinner and Americana on Broadway for brunch. Best coffee house Espresso Vivace on Broadway. Ian is amazing, he provided all the info we needed for a great first trip to Seattle. The apartment was clean, fully stocked and very comfortable. Had a great view of a colorful sunset right from the deck off the living room. Next time in Seattle we will not hesitate to contact Ian again."

  • Pre-holiday getaway

"The view of Lake Union, Queen Anne hill, and the Space Needle was fabulous. The apartment is comfortable and conveniently located whether you have a car or plan to travel by bus and taxi. The kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy a glass of wine and snack or to prepare a meal, and we REALLY appreciated the coffee and French press! Street parking was never an issue - we could always find something within a block of the unit and usually right in front of it. There are a number of buses to choose from to get you downtown, and if you are a walker, there is a lot within 2 miles of the location (and up a few hills :-). The I-5 traffic is smooth and steady enough it served as white noise. Footsteps and activity in the apartment above, which I believe is also a VRBO and was not occupied the entire time we were there, are noticeable. Our biggest challenges were the steps to get up to the unit - they are brick and numerous, but there are railings on both sides - and finding a good place to curb our small dog. There is a park just under a half mile away, and there is an off-leash dog exercising area about the same distance away under I-5, but there are few grassy areas closer for a quick jaunt. This stated, I would return and stay in this unit if it's available when I return to Seattle. It was romantic and warm, and Angela was friendly and helpful!"

  • Perfect for our family of 5

"What a great place to spend a long weekend in Seattle. There was plenty of room for the 5 of us. It was so nice to see the extra-special touches like: plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, dishwashing soap, salt, sugar, coffee filters and even some coffee! The neighborhood is fantastic with many cool shops, restaurants, and a great bakery. Parking was easy on the street and we were very close to downtown. We would most definitely stay here again."

Capitol Hill Travel Tips

Capitol Hill Lodging

If you want an exciting new playground, Capitol Hill might be your type of vacation spot. It's located in uptown Seattle, the biggest city in Washington State, with a population of almost 3.5 million people. Renting a Capitol Hill lodging can be risky business because you might not be fast enough to snap one up. The seaport city is a hot-spot destination, so grab one of the Capitol Hill condos while you can.

Clubs and Coffee

Since Capitol Hill is part of the city of Seattle, it's well known for its clubs and coffee shops. You won't have to walk more than a block or two from Capitol Hill condos to find either one. Seattle is famous for its creation of "grunge" style music and for the striking number of coffee shops—there's one on every corner. Not just famous brands like Starbucks, but dozens of successful privately owned shops that offer unique taste and service. Make sure to take a long stroll around town and try the local coffee shops--you can get Starbucks anywhere.

Capitol Hill is the central hub for Seattle's nightlife. When the sun goes down, the city starts to bustle. Swing by one of the clubs for dinner, drinks and even a live theater performance. Drink coffee by day, party by night--what's not to like about Capitol Hill lodging?

Picking Your Vacation Home

If you're partying hard or just out all day shopping yourself into a stupor, you'll need a comfortable place to rest. Puget Sound vacation rentals are available all over Seattle too, in case you want to stay just outside of Capitol Hill. Some include chefs, while others have balconies overlooking the city. You can find a vacation rental that suits your style for a price you want to pay in the beautiful Puget Sound area.
