  • Betty Boop could stand up in the shower

"This is a Comfortable quiet spot in a convenient part of town. The ceiling is low in places and the fully equipped kitchen needs some real pots and pans but I would stay there again. There are significant stairs up from the street which could be an issue for some but they are solid and safe."

  • The view is truly amazing

"The space is modern but beautiful, the beds are comfy, the kitchen is incredibly well-stocked...and then there's the view. If you are visiting Seattle or trying to impress people from out of town (or to convince them to move here) this is the view to do it. Lake Union, the Olympics, downtown, the Space Needle, the sunset, the sea planes--it's gorgeous. You could sit with a cup of coffee and just stare."

  • Perfect home, perfect location in Seattle.

"The Turret House is the perfect combination of location and quality. Our family of 4 was very comfortable for our week long visit to Seattle. First, it's hard to beat the location and some of the most interesting restaurants we've encountered are within a 10 minute walk (Sitka and Spruce, Nue, Skillet Diner, Via Tribunali, Cider Bar, Bakery Nouveau, Top Pot (for donuts)), as well as Elliot Bay bookstore and many great shops. The unit is well appointed and the bedrooms are seprated by the living room, so there is plenty of privacy. The kitchen is well equiped and overall the sheets, towels, etc. are top quality. The owner is attentive and clearly cares for the property. The home is just two blocks from Trader Joes, a great Co-Op and Skillet Diner - don't miss the bacon jam!. If you have a car, I suggest you pay a little extra for parking on site - it's well worth the convenience."

  • Great place to stay in Seattle

"This was my second time at Urban Oasis and, once again, it was a wonderful stay. Anne, the owner, provides you with everything you need for a great home away from home experience. The apartment is quiet, extremely clean, and spacious. It is 1/2 a block away from some great restaurants (we especially like Tallulah's) and there is a great bus stop to downtown in that same 1/2 block. Enjoy and relax! I will definitely be coming back!"
