"The space is modern but beautiful, the beds are comfy, the kitchen is incredibly well-stocked...and then there's the view. If you are visiting Seattle or trying to impress people from out of town (or to convince them to move here) this is the view to do it. Lake Union, the Olympics, downtown, the Space Needle, the sunset, the sea planes--it's gorgeous. You could sit with a cup of coffee and just stare."

"As a first-time renter with VRBO and a first-time visitor to Seattle, I was concerned about my choice of lodging. It's easy to make things look good in photos and on the web. However, in the case of the Seattle Turret House the pictures and descriptions are accurate. The apartment was immaculate upon our arrival and stocked with everything we needed. The location was excellent and we found stores within walking distance. Because there were two couples staying in the apartment, the cost was very attractive, as compared to a hotel in the same area. The only negative was the very small bathroom, but we worked around it and had a great time. We'll stay here again on our next trip."

Excellent choice for a great Capitol Hill location
"We spent a month here and it was wonderful. We were within easy walking distance of our son and his family, a Safeway & Trader Joe's, numerous excellent (and affordable for Seattle) restaurants, the Arboretum, and Volunteer Park and the Asian Museum. This is a lower level light filled walkout with a lovely view (in winter) of Lake Washington and the Cascades. It is small but well organized and well equipped (except for the absence of a dishwasher). Shampoo, body wash and lotion, dish washing liquid, cleaning supplies, dishes, utensils etc are all provided. You just bring your personal stuff. There are at least 4 bus lines within easy walking distance. We tried 3 - Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square, and the Chihuly Glass Museum and Garden (highly recommended). The owner Julia was very accommodating and updated her ancient TV so that we could use our Apple TV. The internet and Wi-fi were reliable. We are planning on staying here again if we have another long stay to visit the grandkids."

"My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this cottage. Madison was a great host.
The location was great, very close to bus stops, restaurants, markets, and cafes. This is a great spot for visitors without cars.
We look forward to returning soon."
