"I rented this place for my brother, his wife, and their 4 kids for a family trip. It's a beautiful, well maintained home in a great neighborhood. We were very close to restaurants for breakfast and dinner on Phinney Avenue, and parking was always easy. The 2 extra twin air mattresses were useful to split up the kids, and the inflatable sofa bed was quite comfortable. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in and the private backyard is tranquil and a nice place to relax.
Our only small issue: there are beautiful picture windows in the living room & kitchen; unfortunately, they do not open so during this unusual Seattle heat wave, my family found the house quite warm and stuffy, even with the ceiling fans and extra floor fans and doors open (most houses in Seattle do not have A/C). I'm sure it is quite pleasant when it is not so hot."

"Our family of 4 had a fantastic stay in this beautiful condo. The location can't be beat - both the waterfront (i.e the Aquarium, Miner's Landing, Ferris wheel, etc.) and Pike Place Market are minutes away by foot. Earlier reviews mentioned the noise from the Alaska Way viaduct - and yes, you can hear the traffic but bear in mind you are right in the middle of a big city. If proximity to the action is more important to you than peaceful seclusion, this is the place to stay. (And I only really noticed the traffic if the patio door was open).
The furnishings, the appliances, the kitchen equipment and especially the master bed are all top notch. The decor is tasteful and the natural brick makes you feel like you are in a cool, vintage Seattle building (even though the condo is new with all the mod cons). And everything is immaculate.
You can pick up fantastic, fresh food at the market and cook a gourmet meal - accompanied by the bottle of wine the owner generously provides. Or you can try one of the amazing restaurants recommended by the owner - every suggestion we tried was superb. There are so many places to eat nearby that it really helped to get some guidance.
The parking spot is quite tight so don't even think of getting your Honda Odyssey in there (we parked a smaller SUV but it took some careful manoeuvring.) . Check with the owner in advance and let her know what you're driving to confirm if you'll fit. The owner is extremely helpful and accommodating about everything.
We'll definitely return next time we visit Seattle!"
