  • Perfect Capitol Hill hideaway

"I've stayed her several times, both alone for working trips and for family vacation, and each time it's been consistently delightful. It's conveniently located, just a short walk from Capitol Hill food, shopping, and entertainment. Bedrooms are cozily nestled under dormers with big comfy beds. Amenities are satisfactory, good book of local info, and especially nice to have a washer and dryer. This is the first place I look to when business or pleasure brings me to Seattle."

  • listing description was accurate

"This place was great - very clean. It had everything that we needed (and then some!) and the location of this house was ideal........ a short walk to the water and several charming restaurants and coffee shops! We asked for a pack and play and a high chair because we had our 6 month old grandson there, and they supplied us with everything that we requested plus cute baby toys and books!"

  • Great home, great location, great owners!

"This is a great house and accommodated our group of 8 very nicely. Andrew and Sarah are great hosts. Their home is very comfortable. It was great to have a full service kitchen, back porch for morning coffee, four bedrooms, and computer and printer to print boarding passes. It had everything we needed and then some. Parking in the driveway is tight, but it was great to have parking. The only thing that we all agreed upon was that the recycling was a hassle. We come from a place where we have single stream recycling so we found most of our stress came from trying to figure out where each item was supposed to go. Sarah stated they could be fined if anything recycled went into the trash so we had that stress hanging over us all week. The recycling drove us a little crazy, but we survived! I would highly recommend this house to anyone visiting the Seattle area. It's within walking distance to University Village and a park so the location was great. A drive to downtown was 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. If you stay here, take exit 170 off the I5 North, not 168 as the GPS and directions will tell you. Exit 168 gets backed up often, but Exit 170 never had an issue. It was much faster and didn't have the traffic. If I'm ever in the Seattle Area again, this will be the house I choose to rent."

  • Just what it says

"We stayed 3 nights with 7 adults, only 2 couples. Plenty of room, great beds and 20 min from the airport and downtown Seattle. Incredible kitchen. Shopping was close by and this place had enough room to get away by yourself if you wanted to. This is upscale throughout. We got lucky with this home and Alex and Lisa were great. We stayed here before our 7 day cruise started and if we return we will not look elsewhere. Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful home with us."
