  • Five Star Stay!

"We have rented this Magnolia, WA property several times, and each visit we know we will be back. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and convenient. It is about a block from city transit and minutes from downtown Seattle, so having a car is not necessary. Magnolia Village is within walking distance (15 blocks or so) and offers coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and several small boutiques. From the apartment balcony the view reaches to Puget Sound and is beautiful, especially at sunset. The kitchen is well-appointed, as are all the rooms, providing everything needed for comfortable living. I have recommended this property to several of my friends and family members. We love Seattle, and this Magnolia apartment is a five star choice."

  • Gorgeous view

"We had a fabulous girls weekend at this great home. Lovely, well maintained, clean home with fabulous views. We spent houts watching the birds, sea lions and ships go through the locks on the porch. Only issue was the noisy trains that do run all night long, but we would still come back to this great location."

  • Magnolia Cottage - comfortable, convenient, clean

"Magnolia Cottage was impeccably clean, comfortable and quiet. I highly recommend staying in Magnolia as it is close to everything downtown Seattle and the waterfront have to offer, but feels like a small town. The VRBO listing and photos accurately portray the cottage. The owners were very helpful as I planned our trip and during our visit. They left us to our privacy, but were very responsive to emails and phone calls. The cottage is easy walking distance to a bus stop if you want to leave your car behind when enjoying downtown museums, shopping, museums, plays, ballet, opera, restaurants or businesses. The neighborhood of Magnolia is like a quiet little town, but you are literally minutes away from everything downtown Seattle, Lake Union and Ballard have to offer. The kitchen is well-equipped if you want to make meals there. Metropolitan Market, a nice grocery store, is just blocks away. I appreciated that some basics were available in the cottage. I did not have to buy cooking oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, basic spices, napkins, paper towels, dishwashing soap, foil, or laundry soap; items that you need just a tiny bit of, but are expensive to stock for just a week. There are many nice restaurants in Magnolia. We especially enjoyed Palisades and Maggie Bluffs at Elliott Bay Marina, Chinooks at Fisherman's Terminal and Nikos Gyros in Magnolia Village. Many more great restaurants are available downtown, along the waterfront or in Ballard. It is an easy walk to the hiking trails in Discovery Park, Seattle's largest park. The trails wind through beautiful forests and meadows with spectacular views of the sound. Magnolia also has many parks with great playground structures for young children. Don't miss a walk along Magnolia Boulevard, a park with million dollar views of downtown, Puget Sound and Elliott Bay."
