  • Wonderful Seattle Weekend

"My wife and I stayed at this extremely nice Queen Anne apartment for our four day Seattle stay. The unit is very well kept up, clean, well furnished and extremely confortable. Reservations were professionally handled and the owner is very gracious and accomodating. The unit is walking distance (albeit with some hills but all good exercise) to Seattle Center with its Chihuly Museum and, Space Needle and theatres. Also walking distance to some great Queen Anne neighborhoods. Since we were on vacation we did not use the top-flight kitchen facilities except for a Sunday breakfast of Eggs Benedict which we enjoyed on the balcony watching the sun rise. But there is everything you would need to prepare any meal of your choosing. We have definitely found a new favorite place to stay in Seattle and will return Thanks Bill for everything!"

  • location, location, location

"Would we stay there again? Absolutely! The location is fantastic just above the crummy part of lower Queen Anne and just below the ritzy part where the hills get pretty steep for walking. I had just gotten out of a cast so I was not walking all that much but it was no problem getting to Seattle Center, a great market and plenty of restaurants. A park two blocks over and up the hill a couple of blocks afforded a view that amazed. Giuseppe was delightful and helpful as much as he could be far away. The home was very comfortable with good gathering space--we had 10 for dinner one night--no sweat. The kitchen had plenty of equipment--not much of a blender, which was fine, but NO SARAN WRAP OR FOIL, which was kind of maddening, because for two nights we didn't think to buy or bring any and I can't believe a previous guest did not leave any, but there were a lot of empty drawers. For the price, I think this should have been provided. Especially since we had to pay the minimum of 3 nights when we only stayed for two. Beds were all comfortable, as was all of the furniture. Place was very clean. There was also great outdoor space, but being winter we didn't use it. Cons- Because it was winter it would have been lovely to use the gas fireplace which was a focal point of the living room. But we could not get it to work and the owner could not instruct us. There weren't any written instructions for some things like the fireplace, the washer, the jetted tub, the TV surround sound, but we figured it all out. I could imagine, however, some people being frustrated by this. You need to be well-versed in modern equipment. If chipping tile and grout and holes in the wall from unfinished projects would bother you be-ware! This wasn't from overuse or being worn out, just not well-done or finished, but it didn't bother us in the least. Examples--the dining light fixture didn't work so there was a fluorescent bar tacked cock-eyed above the windows, where the curtains hung disheveled because they didn't really fit on the rod and an extension cord hung down so that light could be plugged into the wall. Stuff like that which was more like a college rental than a lovely vacation home. Again, it was a little frustrating, but the things that are most important were good. What did bother us is: The third bedroom with 2 twins (that could be put together for a king) had no bedside table or reading lamps. There were no hooks in the bathroom to ha"

  • Excellent for budget housing

"I'm from Seattle and used this apartment as overflow housing so other traveling family members could stay in the family house. The apartment is comfortable. For the price it is a very good deal. I was taken aback by the low ceilings, but I should have looked more carefully at the pictures - they are a true depiction. Emily was very responsive to problems."

  • Fantastic place to stay.

"Rented this house for a work team vacation to Seattle to watch a football game. We had eight adults and we were all amazed: This house was located in a nice neighborhood. Literally steps away from coffee shops and pubs. The house was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Two hangout areas on the main floor with full size beds. Owner was friendly, easy to contact, and quick to reply. I was very impressed. Will recommend."
