  • Perfect place

"Stayed here and it was perfect. This was our first time to Seattle and without a vehicle we had no problem getting around on foot and by public transportation. Seven of us stayed here comfortably five adults and two children, 4years & 7years. About the rental- Very clean, comfortable and amenities to enjoy while your not out and about. There's a gym, pool, nice court yard, roof top deck acsess with a view and a grill. The kitchen comes equipped with pretty much everything you need cook, heat or just keep food fresh and cold. The shower water pressure is great and I liked that, it also has a bath tub in one of the restrooms. There is a TV, DVD player, and Wii we could have used but we stayed busy out in the city. Secure access to building but easy to get in, around and out when needed. About the location- The location for us was perfect. Without a vehicle and two small children we walked pretty much everywhere, Pike place market, Space needle, downtown, etc. One block up on 3rd are the main bus routes that seem to prettyuch get you where you need to go. We took it one day and it was $2.50 adult $1.50 child 6 and older. There are so many great restaurants located at street level of building and all surrounding blocks. We did not have a problem finding great food anytime. My favorite restaurant had to be Marrakesh a one minute walk. . There are markets near by for groceries, we actually walked a little further to whole foods. Like I said, perfect location and on our next trip back this is definitely going to be where we stay and maybe next time we will rent a car to venture out further because this place also comes with garage parking. So if you do have a car you can just park it and walk everywhere or drive it to where you want to go. It did look like you have to pay to park almost everywhere so keep that in mind. Autumn was very professional, friendly and easy to contact."

  • Just about perfect

"My husband and I rented this house for a long-planned Thanksgiving with our extended Seattle family. We needed a place that was reasonably accessible so our 95-year-old family matriarch would be able to use her wheelchair when she came to visit. Unlike many houses in Seattle, this house allowed us to wheel her in with no stairs and no problem. The house delighted us with its warmth, color, and well thought out furnishings. Our Thanksgiving guests, many of whom are artists and musicians, all commented on the loveliness and tranquility of the rooms and the artwork throughout. We enjoyed the gas fireplace on those gray drizzly afternoons, and loved the coziness and friendly vibe of the family room / kitchen area. The pictures really do not do it justice. Each room is spacious and flows smoothly into the next. The beds were comfortable, and I was impressed by the thread count in the sheets in the master bedroom. Not what one usually finds in a rental! Since we had to do a lot of cooking, I was concerned about the kitchen amenities. No worries! The kitchen was fully equipped - another pleasant surprise. Although we were there during a rainy spell, when the sun peeked out we got to enjoy the beautiful view of Green Lake and the Cascades right from the back deck. The neighborhood is charming and loaded with great restaurants within walking distance, and its a reasonably short drive to downtown and the airport. We highly recommend The Stumbling Goat, Phinney Market and Pub, Ken's Market, and the amazing little burger joint right up the street. Our daughter braved the Seattle rain and took a run around Green Lake - on her return she showed us pictures she took of the beautiful trail and even some chickens that greeted her from a neighbor's front yard! Matt and Lynne were super friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure sharing their home. We returned to the East Coast with many wonderful memories. We are looking forward to a return visit! Thank you again!"
