View & stunning sunsets
"10 day base for a family & friends vacation. All relatives came to visit separately and together. All were amazed by the location, view & sunset. Close to the light rail station in Tukwila which we used several times to access downtown Seattle. Easy access from there to the ferries which we enjoyed. Easy access to I10 and excellent restaurants just up 152nd st. in Burien. Supermarkets & Trader Joe's require a car. Would do this destination again anytime. Very hospitable and attentive owners. Usually on site, very open to suggestions. The bathrobes were a very appreciated amenity. Kitchen is small; not intended for preparation of big deals. Good parking! Thanks."

"This Queen Anne home offered everything we hoped for and needed for our family gathering over a long, fall weekend. The owners and their friendly and meticulous, property caretaker have overlooked nothing. The home itself is spacious and beautifully arranged. It gave seven adults and a child our own, well-separated spaces as well as inviting living room, kitchen/dining and outdoor spaces to gather as a group. The peaceful neighborhood and views to the bay and mountains from many vantage points creates the atmosphere of a restful retreat. The nearby Queen Anne business district is charming and we spent an afternoon browsing through clothing and gift shops. There are many noteworthy restaurants in the same area. We found the Paragon to offer a nice brunch and excellent service for our large party. For those who want to branch out beyond the immediate area, the numerous attractions of downtown and the Seattle Center, including the Space Needle, or desirable neighborhoods like Fremont, Ballard, South Lake Union and Magnolia are all within 10 minutes by car. The location is also convenient for accessing the professional sports arenas and the University of Washington. It is hard to overemphasize how centrally located this beautiful, neighborhood property is to the best that Seattle offers to visitors. We hope to return again as a family group enjoy this beautifully designed and maintained home."

"We stayed at Sweet Orange while visiting our son who lives nearby. I can't imagine a better choice, and we will surely return every time we go back to Seattle. The house is immaculate and extremely comfortable inside, and surrounded by wonderful plantings. It features a riot of color which somehow manages to be both interesting and restful. We have mobility issues and it was perfect for us, being all on one floor and with only a couple of steps at the entrance. A special bonus was the lovely shaded deck overlooking the garden. The house is on a quiet street but close to stores and restaurants. We were there during a heat wave (rare for Seattle), but the house stayed cool enough for comfortable sleep, thanks to the surrounding trees. We had a minor mixup in scheduling, but Cassie went out of her way to make everything work for us. I can't imagine a more perfect place to stay!"

"Our daughter and family live in the area and we have found Harrison Modern a great place to stay. It is quite comfortable and well appointed. The owner has been great communicating and responding to questions. The unit has been very well cleaned and prepared for each of our stays.
The unit has off street parking (a big plus for the area) and is in walking distance to a very nice commercial area with grocery stores, restaurants, shops, etc. There is a very usable kitchen and good appliances and equipment. The deck is very nice (weather permitting of course). There are also laundry facilities which are quite good."
