"We traveled to Seattle to celebrate an early Thanksgiving with out daughter who recently located to the area. Loved the character of this rental. The house was very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable to hang out in. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a full Thanksgiving meal and the large dining room was a perfect setting. The location was great - quiet area but close to the city. The owner responded right away when we called or texted. Would definitely stay here again."

"This is a wonderful little place to stay in Seattle. The cottage is small and cozy, but very clean and well stocked. WiFi internet was fast and problem-free. Good restaurants and corner shops are only a few blocks away (I walked one night, took maybe 5min). The owners are VERY nice and friendly and they make you feel right at home! Given the location in the area, this property is priced extremely reasonably. I would definitely recommend staying here, and would stay here again myself if I were back in Seattle. One last thing, as others have commented, yes, the home is in the flight path for SeaTac Airport. I didn't see this as an issue at all, as most of the Seattle area has aircraft-generated noise. Afterall, it is the home of Boeing, so what can one expect?"

"We have stayed in many VRBO's and this has been by far the BEST house. Our family and friends came in from every direction and this house in Alki Beach was the HUB for our daughter's four day wedding. Ten of us fit comfortably. We held a BBQ as a "Meet and Greet" for about 30 and had an "After Party" where everyone came over the day after the wedding to open gifts for 20. Two kitchens, an outside gas bbq and a pantry TOTALLY STOCKED with a chef in mind made it possible to have homemade cookies, cakes, and pies. The young adults hung out downstairs with all the electronics and the older adults loved sitting outside on the patio with the firepit. Oh, all the kids loved the table outside that lights up. Fireplaces in the living room and the Master Bedroom (which by the way is huge) and wonderful appiances. The steamer came in handy when we needed tablecloths ironed. So many gadgets in this house. The boardwalk is just down the street with shops and incredible views. West Seattle is beautiful and so much to do in the Alki area.
So, whether you have a big family gathering or meeting up with friends, if you love gadgets, cooking, walking along the beach, being just a water taxi ride to Pike's Market you will be happy in this house and with Jamie.
These are not absentee owners. They are there to help and answer any questions. We had a small leak in the kitchen faucet which got fixed within a couple of hours of reporting it. Thank you Jamie for making our daughter's wedding such a wonderful experience. Huge Hugs."
