"This property housed our 14 friend for a big reunion and it was fantastic. There were enough beds for everyone, plenty of space, not much waiting for showers and great kitchen storage. But the best part for us was the backyard. We brought and set up a volleyball net, had plenty of room to throw frisbees, grilled out, and went down to the river to cool off. It was perfect for our game and outdoor loving crew. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it was really hot the days we were visiting and the air conditioning didn't seem to work so well. It was also more noticeable when we would have all 14 of us playing games in the living room, but that's partially on us for having that many people in one room! Paul was fantastic and accommodating and I highly recommend this property! Thanks!"Guest: Annie Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 30, 2014View listing
"My husband and I went to Seattle with our three chldren and one of their friends, all of which are 15 and older. Everyone had a place to sleep, the beds are comfortable, and the lake is beautiful. The owners are very attentive and easy to work with. The bunks in the living room are a good use of space, and would work well for people with younger children who may be uncomfortable sleeping in strange rooms. The house is minutes from shopping and several restaurants. Even though it is south of Seattle the location is easily accessible from I-5 and is situated near public transport so you can go into the city without having to deal with parking. This is our second stay in the property, and it will not be our last. Thanks for helping us have a great trip."Guest: Tracy F. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 14, 2014View listing
"If you want to get away from the city then this is the location for you (~2 hours from downtown Seattle). The property itself is beautiful. Every morning we sat on the back porch to enjoy the view of the bay and seals on the dock. We picked blackberries and apples and made some wonderful homemade desserts. It was nice having the kayaks so we could see more of the bay. We also enjoyed watching the raccoons that came every night and sat right outside the living room window. The house could definitely use some TLC. Don’t really consider the room where the single beds are located a “loft” but rather an attic. Whenever we turned on the water there was a strong odor of sulfur. The advertisement mentions a grill in the kitchen; if you use it then you will be charged extra for cleaning. The outside patio area was not swept/cleaned prior to our arrival. One of the ovens had a moldy pizza in it while the other had dirty used foil. The window treatments were dirty and the mantel very dusty. There were light bulbs missing in different rooms and some of the dishes in the kitchen cabinets were dirty. The frig and freezer were dirty and the frig had a leak. As a whole the kitchen was a huge disappointment as far as cleanliness was concerned. For all the rules they give you on this house you would think that it would be immaculate. Overall, our family had a great time and enjoyed the vacation but we would not stay at this home again. Tranquility Vacations apologized and refunded us our security deposit plus $100 from our cleaning deposit."Guest: None Date of Stay: October 2012 Review Submitted: October 30, 2012View listing
"It is a beautiful home in a convenient location with lots of room. Our family was able to stay together, gather between wedding activities, and eat meals and visit. The view is awesome. I would love to stay again and just enjoy the house and lake."Guest: Mary Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 18, 2014View listing
