"My parents and I stayed at this place for six nights and we really liked it. It has a beautiful garden and the interior is spacious and clean. The only thing we were not used to is the occasional noises from the upper floor, since it's made of wood. But most of the time it is quiet. The dogs were very passionate so if you are a dog lover, you're at the right place! The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, parking was easy. My parents had a good time!"

"I stayed in this cozy studio for two months this summer (2015). It is small but had everything I needed for my stay. I prepared most of my meals in the small, but well appointed kitchenette. With a microwave, a toaster oven and a great single cooking gizmo for boiling water or frying eggs, the only thing I couldn't prepare would be a large turkey. I would have to make that in the new large gas barbecue grill provided on the large patio.
The bathroom was clean and comfortable with a large stall shower and plenty of storage for my "stuff". The queen bed was very comfortable. With wifi and a TV, I had all the entertainment I needed.
An addition to the cottage was constructed while I was there (with my blessing). This provides a separate space if two people are occupying the space.
The neighborhood is very quiet and well maintained. It is convenient to UW, restaurants, shopping and the bus to downtown. I had a car for my stay, but the bus is two short blocks away.
I am a spunky Senior and I recommend the location very highly. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Best of all was the clear view of Mt. Rainer from the patio."

"We spent 10 days in Seattle and absolutely loved it! The Portage Bay Guest Cottage was perfect. Pam was wonderful! The cottage is in a great location to catch a bus to downtown, or drive a car to explore. Pam had even found a portable air conditioner for the cottage because the temperatures in Seattle were higher than normal. We would love to go back and stay there again."

"We had a wonderful time in this house. It was very accommodating and comfortable. Loved the art work and the variety of books available to browse through. There was a place for everyone to find their solace when needed. We loved it and would immediately consider it again, if the need arises."
