  • Great getaway location

"Spent a weekend at this studio. It has a great location and a very nice setup. You can do a lot from this location on foot. Wish we would have brought our bikes to do some riding. We spent the day walking the parks and enjoyed the Italian restaurant around the corner. Would definitely recommend."

  • Winter Lodge

"Charlotte's Cottage was a warm and cozy place to spend the holidays. The pictures correctly illustrated the house. We stayed warm even when it was snowing outside. The owner/manager was only a phone call away if we had any questions. We were able to entertain and host friends and relatives who came in to town to see our new grandson. Everyone loved the cottage. Often we would walk to buy groceries or dinner. The dinner choices were varied and numerous. We chose not to rent a car, so if we didn't walk, we took the bus into Seattle. I'd love to take the ferry in warmer weather. It truly is located in a quite, yet perfect location. We will be coming back."

  • Great House!

"We stayed here for 1 1/2 months. It was very clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. Everything worked which is not the case with other places we have stayed. If we ever need a place to stay again, we will definitely look here first."

  • Visiting From NYC

"I recently visited Seattle for a month for work and was quite pleased to meet Pam, who suggested I check out her cottage, which just happened to be available during my stay. I was quite surprised by the quaint space Pam created, snuggled perfectly behind her home. I immediately fell in love with the neighborhood and the fact that I was also able to utilize public transportation, which was quite convenient with a trip to downtown Seattle only taking 10-15 minutes. Pam was extremely accommodating and was also a wealth of knowledge with regard to the city. The cottage was extremely clean and contained everything needed for an extended stay away from home. I did rent a car for a few days to sight see around Seattle and Pam insured parking was never an issue as a private space located just outside the cottage was always made available to me. I would highly recommend Pam’s cozy retreat to anyone looking to experience amazing hospitality in this wonderful city."

Seattle Travel Tips

Best Time of Year to Visit Seattle Vacation Rentals

Seattle is known for its high amount of rainfall. In fact, statistically it rains at least half of the time. The heaviest rains occur during the months of October and December, and between January and May. The summer months of June through August are the driest and also have the warmest daytime temperatures. For obvious reasons, this is the most popular time of year for people to visit Seattle. Even though the city experiences a lot of rainfall, the climate is relatively mild compared to other North American cities on the same latitude. Although the winter months are cold, snow occurs only occasionally and usually does not last for more than a day or two. For visitors, it is advisable to always have a rain jacket with you as the weather is very changeable.
