  • Lakefront Relaxation

"We had such an incredible timing staying in quaint little Leschi. From the moment we arrived we knew we had found somehting special. Sitting down by the dock was so relaxing and the view was absolutely incredible being able to see Mount Rainier and Mount Baker on a clear day. We are defintely coming back to this spot again. The house was awesome and great for a family. There were nice restaurants within walking distance and a cool local market. It was also really easy to drive downtown via side streets and did not take long at all to be down at Pikes Marketplace. I would highly recommend a stay here ."

  • Roomy Comfy 4 bedroom

"Spacious home, close proximity to downtown, beds were comfortable. It was six of us and we had more than enough room. Host provided free wifi and she quickly responded to our questions."

  • A great family home with an amazing view!

"The Marrs Family enjoyed this beautiful home with the million dollar view of Lake Washington for Thanksgiving week 2014. The amazing kitchen was used everyday and the table with seating for 10 made it perfect. Our ten year old grandson was worried there would not be enough table seating for our Thanksgiving dinner. On his arrival he said "Can we book this for next year too!" The living area being opened to the kitchen gave us great family times. The fire place was used often. The recliners were an asset. One TV meant we had to challenge for times. So one night the girls got it for chick flicks the guys the next day for football. All ages enjoyed the pool table. The laundry area was a blessing. Gary meet us at the home and gave us the grand tour. He was so nice and we enjoyed his friendliness. We had sunshine, rain, snow, ice and a cloudy day. Just what the part of the family from the CA desert had ordered. The house was as the listing description had presented it. Yes, we would rent again. Thank you, we had a blast!"

  • Warm, romantic, cozy, and full of Joy!

"What a terrific experience! Joy was amazing, an absolutely outstanding hostess who greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home before we even boarded. It’s almost overwhelming how nice she was, even before we had met. She offered to pick us up and drop us off at different locations, even the airport, and had excellent suggestions about local eateries, attractions, and other interesting spots in the area. So, before we even get into the accommodations, a giant “Thank you!” to Joy. The boat itself was quite inviting and very comfortable. Much roomier than it appears on the outside, we were surprised to find three bedrooms, nice bathroom with a shower, living room/dining area (with a fireplace!) and a kitchen with every modern amenity. Out on the topside, the boat has a lovely "patio" sitting area and a wonderful hot tub to melt away stress. The weather was cool this time of year but we were warm and cozy by the fireplace, drifting along under a beautiful skyline of the city. The boat absorbs so much sunlight and warmth during the day, that evenings were nice and warm inside still, and we didn't even need to turn on the heater. And this was during an unusually cold snap for the area. Joy will gladly take you just about anywhere in the boat. She knows the water well, and is clearly an expert captain who is one with her vessel. Dinner? No problem. Scenic tour? No problem. When you’re done cruising, she is still excellent company, and knows when it’s time to make herself scarce. In this case, it was our anniversary; without being prompted, she took off and left us to our own devices, only to return in the morning (after we called her to let her know we were up) to make us breakfast and help us plan our day’s adventures in Seattle. Oh, and it was a really, really terrific breakfast. The next night, she stayed on board with us, and was great company, and again, knew when we wanted some time to ourselves. She is all that she advertises and more. We can safely say this is not the last that she has seen of us, and we’re very much looking forward to returning. Oh, and there is a house(boat) cat, Miss Bunny, who is just as charming as her mom. In all, if we could give Joy more than 5 stars, we would."
