  • Incredible stay

"We were 7 guests (3 couples, and a last minute dad-in-town addition). The house was incredible! The photos honestly do not do it justice - it was spacious, had a well-appointed kitchen, and a little den nook with doors that would close, so we let dad blow up an air mattress in there for the night and find some privacy. The hot tub was a treat, as was the rowboat. The owners were extremely responsive, open to our last-minute changes, and accommodating of our labradoodles. All in all, a wonderful weekend and we plan to stay here again."

  • Perfect girls getaway

"For my second stay at The Perch, I came with several friends to celebrate my 40th birthday. We loved how clean, cheery and bright it was, perfect for a gray weekend in January. We also enjoyed the easy walking distance to a few favorite restaurants and shops. Memories of our weekend at the Perch bring a bright joy filled smile. Also note the Perch is not just for ladies. My first stay was with my husband, who chose where we were staying, and he loved it too!"

  • Great home, great location, great owners!

"This is a great house and accommodated our group of 8 very nicely. Andrew and Sarah are great hosts. Their home is very comfortable. It was great to have a full service kitchen, back porch for morning coffee, four bedrooms, and computer and printer to print boarding passes. It had everything we needed and then some. Parking in the driveway is tight, but it was great to have parking. The only thing that we all agreed upon was that the recycling was a hassle. We come from a place where we have single stream recycling so we found most of our stress came from trying to figure out where each item was supposed to go. Sarah stated they could be fined if anything recycled went into the trash so we had that stress hanging over us all week. The recycling drove us a little crazy, but we survived! I would highly recommend this house to anyone visiting the Seattle area. It's within walking distance to University Village and a park so the location was great. A drive to downtown was 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. If you stay here, take exit 170 off the I5 North, not 168 as the GPS and directions will tell you. Exit 168 gets backed up often, but Exit 170 never had an issue. It was much faster and didn't have the traffic. If I'm ever in the Seattle Area again, this will be the house I choose to rent."

  • Perfect for us

"I live a few blocks from this house, and have rented it twice when all my family is in town. We just rented it over Easter. Here's what I love about it: * Four large bedrooms with max space between them, so everyone has privacy (3rd bedrooms separated by stairwell & bath, 1st bedrooms by laundry & bath) * Both upper bedrooms have private decks with view * House is so nice & elegantly decorated that even the hardest-to-please in my family are thrilled with it * On same block as the small 65th bar/coffee/restaurant district, but still has on-street parking available (can be a huge issue elsewhere in Seattle!) * Main 2nd floor great for entertaining I was just really happy with everything. The Internet worked. Everything worked. Everything was stocked. Carrie is local & very responsive."

Puget Sound Travel Tips

Plan an Active Vacation around Puget Sound Rentals

Puget Sound is a body of water and region found in the northwestern United States, and includes much of Washington State. Puget Sound rentals allow visitors to explore the many cities lying along the waterway, as well as many included islands.

Choose Puget Sound Rentals and Explore the Complex Waterways

Charter a boat and take a cruise from Puget Sound vacation rentals, exploring ports at Seattle, Tacoma and Olympia. You’ll witness many islands and inlets, as well as several commercial and private watercrafts. Your Puget Sound vacation home may also overlook the water and offer breathtaking views you won’t soon forget.

Visit the Islands of the Northwest near Puget Sound Vacation Rentals

The San Juan Islands are located between the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Strait of Georgia. Puget Sound rentals offer easy access to these islands that are quite popular for weekend travelers who live locally. Puget Sound vacation rentals are ideal accommodations for anyone wanting to meet and play with their Canadian neighbors, too. Rent kayaks to navigate the waterways while keeping fit, and plan on a whale-watching tour while staying in your Puget Sound vacation home.

Your Puget Sound Vacation Home Offers Adventurous Opportunities

Although kayaking tours of the waters surrounding Puget Sound rentals are quite unique, there are other physically demanding activities that are quite popular to locals and visitors alike. Several bicycling clubs and paths allow you to tour the cities and towns found in the region near Puget Sound vacation rentals, and hiking trails are carved throughout the islands and nature preserves.

During the winter months, skiing is also a great way to see the snow-covered mountains of Seattle and all of Washington. Look for a Puget Sound vacation home found on the mountainside, and you’ll see why many visitors of the past have since become local residents of the region.
