  • Visiting family

"I was delighted with this rental in so many ways. It was within walking distance of family so this was a definite plus. It was very comfortable with a fully functioning kitchen that met my needs exactly. I highly recommend this rental and hope to go back in the future. It is close to all the Bainbridge Island markets, theater, knit shop, fabric store, a delightful bakery, etc!"

  • Excellent All-Around!

"My wife and I stayed at the Gig Harbor Guest House for 12 days. It was a most enjoyable and pleasant stay. Without hesitation, we highly recommend the Guest House. The house is as close to the water as one can be, very close to the historic downtown, quiet, modern, and just a superb place to stay and kick back. Marlene is an excellent hostess. She provides everything that a guest would expect and wish to have to make a stay comfortable. And before you leave take a look at the name of the dock and the pictures of the fishing boats on the walls - there is a fascinating connection with local history and heritage! Great place - highly recommended."

  • The best of West Seattle

"My sisters and I gathered here for our annual get-away and we loved it! This is probably the cleanest vrbo we have ever stayed in, plus it was tastefully decorated and had all the comforts of home. The location can't be beat--right around the corner from several great restaurants ( we loved Duke's) and Alki Beach. The free shuttle and other bus stops were close by so transportation was readily available. We loved our stay at Alki and would definitely recommend this property!"

"I stayed here for 10 days end of August. Originally going to be 8 but home so comfortable, relaxing, I added two days. Evi, owner, couldn't be more accomodating. Lovely person. Deer and bunnies in yard every day, so quiet & peaceful. Slept the best for long time. Bed super comfortable. Just bring your clothes, food and everything else there. Sit on deck, looking at water..heaven!"

Puget Sound Travel Tips

Plan an Active Vacation around Puget Sound Rentals

Puget Sound is a body of water and region found in the northwestern United States, and includes much of Washington State. Puget Sound rentals allow visitors to explore the many cities lying along the waterway, as well as many included islands.

Choose Puget Sound Rentals and Explore the Complex Waterways

Charter a boat and take a cruise from Puget Sound vacation rentals, exploring ports at Seattle, Tacoma and Olympia. You’ll witness many islands and inlets, as well as several commercial and private watercrafts. Your Puget Sound vacation home may also overlook the water and offer breathtaking views you won’t soon forget.

Visit the Islands of the Northwest near Puget Sound Vacation Rentals

The San Juan Islands are located between the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Strait of Georgia. Puget Sound rentals offer easy access to these islands that are quite popular for weekend travelers who live locally. Puget Sound vacation rentals are ideal accommodations for anyone wanting to meet and play with their Canadian neighbors, too. Rent kayaks to navigate the waterways while keeping fit, and plan on a whale-watching tour while staying in your Puget Sound vacation home.

Your Puget Sound Vacation Home Offers Adventurous Opportunities

Although kayaking tours of the waters surrounding Puget Sound rentals are quite unique, there are other physically demanding activities that are quite popular to locals and visitors alike. Several bicycling clubs and paths allow you to tour the cities and towns found in the region near Puget Sound vacation rentals, and hiking trails are carved throughout the islands and nature preserves.

During the winter months, skiing is also a great way to see the snow-covered mountains of Seattle and all of Washington. Look for a Puget Sound vacation home found on the mountainside, and you’ll see why many visitors of the past have since become local residents of the region.
