  • Great Escape!

"Came for a weekend getaway with the family. it is nice to not have to drive too far to feel like you are somewhere else. The house has great open space to hang out and entertain. Enough space to have your own personal couch! The outside deck having even more room to hang out and play games. Beautiful view of the lake in the evening and nice to wake up to. The kids enjoyed going out on the lake practicing to paddle on the paddle boat as well as swimming and playing on the floats."

  • Outstanding!!!

"Our family vacation could not have gone better; exceeded our expectations. We had 15 people from 1 to 85 yrs old. The house gave us the ability to eat and play together, but plenty of privacy as well. Having our boat docked at the house was great, and the swimming is excellent!"

  • Wonderful!

"This house was worth it! The owners were exceptional to deal with - so quick to reply to questions and so friendly and accommodating. We have done VEBOs before, and no owners have been so thoughtful. We felt old like family friends at every step. The home had much charm and individuality, and a lot of regular household items were thoughtfully provided. The dock was amazing, though it was a little shallow. We simply lifted our outdrive slightly to not intake the muck. The actual bottom was plenty deep enough, but there was several feet of sediment; true of a good portion of the lake. If you have children, bring a baby gate! The steps to the basement/master were a little treacherous, and the railing bars were a little wide for our 3 one-year-olds. We effectively blocked off the entire section with the sofa and a stool, though. While this home could, in theory, sleep 12, really only 6 adults were comfortable. The other 6 are on sleeper sofas and a futon in the living room - perfectly fine if you don't mind sleeping in the common area. The lake itself was awesome. Warm and shallow for half, deep and perfect other half. And at least the September week we were there, we had the entirety of it to ourselves. We played lawn games in the lush yard, and hand-fed fish off the dock. We sunbathed on the sliver-free dock, and swam in the warm water. A wonderful week, and a perfect home to enjoy this great location."

  • Tremendous Week at Loon Lake

"Our family of five had a wonderful stay. Modern accommodations were excellent. Beds comfortable and we really enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. Grilling was awesome too. Use of dock, boat, and kayak also was great. We plan on returning next year! Highly recommend!"
