"This house is awesome! The bedrooms are nice and it has a wonderful deck and boat dock! The only drawback is the the narrow road which winds around the lake all the way to the house - difficult when hauling a boat. Do not drive to property with boat! Drop boat off at Deer Lake Resort first. Other than that - beautiful!!!!"

"My family had a wonderful summer trip to this lakeside cabin. The cabin is well-stocked and very clean, with all of the linens/towels/dishes and kitchen utensils you will need. The cabin is in great shape, and feels very new and well cared for.
The house deck is awesome, with a fantastic view. In August the morning sun was often too hot for eating breakfast outside, but as the sun moved west the deck was a wonderful afternoon and evening hangout. There are a lot of stairs down to the lower deck and dock, but my kids (ages 9 and 5) were fine. I just asked them to take it slow. I would not recommend kids younger than 4 as these are long and steep stairs.
The lower deck is great with its own bbq and fridge, so we could bring things down and hangout for the day. The dock is wonderful, and where we spent most of our time. My kids also loved the rocky beach, lots of snails shells to find and rocks to skip.
If I had any suggestions for the owners I would say that the master bed was too firm and might benefit from a mattress topper. Also, the living room furniture wasn't the coziest couch I've ever sat on, not a big deal for us as we were outside most of the day, but might be more important in the cooler months of the year. Other than that I highly recommend this cabin to any couple or family looking for a wonderful, private and relaxing lakeside vacation! Thanks again to the gracious property owners who made our stay amazing!"

"The place has the best view ever the covered deck is awesome! Everything you need is there. The only problem is the beach very difficult to get to the water as it is really low this time of year not a problem really if your boating but if your trying to enjoy some swim time not the ideal spot...doable yes but difficult. The sand drops abruptly 4 to 5 ft about 4 times down to the water this time of year. Overall really comfortable beautiful inexpensive place to chill :)"

"We already booked our stay for summer 2016! For the past 2 summers our family of five has stayed at the Morgan Park guest house. The owners of Morgan Park, Jerry and Mary Jo are meticulous in the care of the their property from the guest house to the landscaping and beach front. This CLEAN, cozy cabin is stocked with all the essentials, so there is really no need to bring much besides suits, sunscreen, beach towels and food for the week. This makes trip preparation with kids super simple. I know most parents can appreciate easy trip prep! The beds are clean and cozy (the kids love the bunk bed) and the kitchen is open and spacious.
One of the things I love is that even though this cabin does not sit on the lake front, I am able to see down to the beach and dock from the huge window in the kitchen. It makes it easy to keep an eye on the kids as the go to and from the beach.
Loon Lake is beautiful, Jerry and Mary Jo are lovely and we hope to continue to make great summer memories at Morgan Park!"
