  • Family Weekend

"What a great place to stay with a group of kids! My son goes to Moody Bible Institute and my two girls and I went to stay for a long weekend. My son and several of his friends spent the weekend with us and the house was perfect, roomy yet cozy for all of us. Much nicer than a hotel rental as we were able to cook and be in a house instead of just a room. It was very cold while we were there so we were unable to spend time on the lake but the kids did enjoy a walk around the lake and surprisingly most of then woke for the spectacular sunsets that were seen across the lake. We all decided the small couch upstairs by the window looking out onto the lake was the perfect spot for reading or a quiet conversation. The kids have all requested we go back in the summer and enjoy being on the lake, not just enjoying the view from the house."

  • Multiple family getaway!

"This property certainly met our needs as we had multiple families staying at the cabin and a few just came to visit for the day. The home has all the comforts of home and is well equipped with most kitchen appliances. We certainly needed two refrigerators with the number of people in our party and this home had two that were both full-sized. The owners left a dingy and a pontoon trampoline anchored off the private beach which our college aged family members loved. Because of the excessive heat in the area, during the time of our stay, we had no air conditioners in the home. The owners did have ceiling fans in the upper bedrooms and portable, smaller fans for our use in most rooms. We spent a lot of time at the private beach, as it was at least 10-15 degrees cooler than the home during the day. This home had an expansive deck overlooking the Columbia River and was equipped with a gas grill, picnic table, hot tub, and separate patio table and multiple chairs that were awesome for lounging in as we star gazed each evening. If you love to star gaze this is an awesome location, as there is NO light pollution to inhibit the spectacular sight of a falling star and watching multiple satellites run their course up above us."

  • Definitely an excellent spot!

"Our four granddaughters along with their parents joined us (grandparents from the east coast) for an outstanding time at this perfectly designed lake home for young children. Days were very warm, but all of us could fully enjoy the lake's coolness. Evenings were cool. We had every dinner by the lake at the lovely 'cabaña' type area so we could fully take in the comfortable surroundings. Every item possible was fully provided ~ life vests for all sizes, water rafts and tubes, outside and inside toys, books, games, and jungle jims, horseshoe pits, and a volleyball net. The yard is lovely! Beautiful flowers and shrubbery outline the large property plus the enormous green grassy area between the house and the lake makes life extra pleasant. It was helpful to have the washer/dryer along with the dishwasher handy too. We were able to grill out or easily fix all of our meals each day/night. Go and enjoy! The owners are extremely helpful, kind, and accommodating. We'd love to go back some day."
