  • No better place for July 4th!

"For the second year in a row, we had an amazing trip to the Bay Inlet Beach Cottage for the July 4 holiday. The house is perfect - gorgeously rebuilt, efficient sized, and perfectly located - as the only house on the beach, you have tons of privacy, but walk up the steps and you're right in the middle of town! Easy access to coffee, ice cream, wine tasting, grocery, restaurants, and weekend farmers market. Lopez LOVES July 4, and the house is just next to the parade route. Best kept secret: you can see the fireworks from the living room windows! Lauren was on top of everything, very easy to work with. We'll be back!"

  • Birch Bay Getaway

"This quiet condo at the front of Jacob's Landing is perfect for your vacation. Jacob's is exactly in the middle of Birch Bay, with all of the Bay's favourites within walking/biking distance. This well-maintained condo has convenient parking, a walkway to the drive and lots of privacy in your own corner of the Jacob's complex. Beautiful views of the beach and the action on the drive, without any of the noise. Complex has an indoor pool, games room, tennis and sports courts, grass areas and lots of parking. Condo has a very private deck with BBQ and deck furniture, and the shade of a peaceful tree. Our annual summer trips to this Birch Bay condo have included a girls getaway (pedicures at the Escape Spa), a trip with young children who loved exploring the beach, and a quiet romantic getaway. Whatever your Birch Bay vacation plans, this condo will work for you."

  • Great family rental for a wedding!

"We arrived to a wonderfully clean and inviting home. We had 6 adults and a dog in the home, and it never felt cramped. There was still room for more people on top of that. The kitchen was well equipped, and there was no fear of running out of coffee! The back deck has an excellent view of the sound, and had the weather been better, it would have gotten a lot of use. The home is positioned close to town, but it's at the top of a steep hill that could be difficult for some to walk up/down. That's the price for great views!! I would definitely recommend this vacation rental to others."

  • 4 Families and 1 good time had!

"Thanks for providing a wonderful house for our use on a great island. First, the logistics...We had 8 adults and 7 kids under the age of 6. Not easy to manage but we had beds for all which was great. We were able to keep the babies isolated so they could nap and the kids had tons of room to play outside. The firepit was great for the adults in the evening to get a break. Next, the location: located walking distance to the town was great. The IGA and other restaurants provided all we needed and the location near the small airport provided a great place to visit for the kids. We were a 15 drive from anything on the island worth visiting such as Moran State Park (fresh water lake with a beach and play area), golf (the course isn't much but still fun round), Eastsound as mentioned above and the water itself. Finally the house and our host: Both were exactly what we needed. The house was cleaned professionally before our arrival and everything we needed (Wifi, rules of the house, etc) were clearly outlined. The BBQ was excellent as was the frisbee golf course and the tire swings. Some of the beds were 'soft' as per the reviews of my friends but it's an old house...what can you expect? Lots of room and a ton of fun. Thanks for a wonderful long weekend destination. Recommend for those who are looking to take 3-4 families away for a long weekend."
