  • Perfect Cabin and perfect location

"We love this cabin so much, that this was our second time here. And I know we'll be back again! It has become our new favorite weekend getaway spot. It's a cozy, clean and perfectly private retreat. And so comfortable in every way. We love the surroundings and location of the cabin also. It's perfectly situated for exploring the Mt. Baker area and to the little town of Glacier. Situated in the little cute community of Snoline with it's pond and bridge and amenities is perfect. And we really appreciate the comforts of home touches for our dog as well. Such as the great dog door which she used all the time and bowls and balls. And we really appreciate how responsive the owners are at answering any questions quickly. We can't say enough of how wonderful the cabin and surrounding community is. Thank you Eli and Beth for everything!"

  • Didn't Want To Leave!

"We stayed at this property the last week of May and found it to be very comfortable, clean and well appointed. Everything one could possibly need was provided and easy to find. The fireplaces were welcome on cooler evenings. The area is wonderfully quiet and has lots of dog walking options. Ocean watching from the deck was exceptional - even better using our binoculars. Normally we don’t return to any vacation rentals but we will definitely return to this property."

  • Amazing experience staying here

"My husband and I recently stayed at The Waterhouse for a week and we had the best vacation. Moments after our arrival we saw orcas from the house and we saw them every day of our stay. We also saw a young humpback whale very close to shore right in front of the house. There is so much wildlife around: blacktail deer including a spotted fawn, a raccoon that peered in the window, bald eagles on the rocky point seen from the living room, barn swallows tending their babies in mud nests on the house, white-crowned sparrows singing sweetly from the blackberry bushes and pelagic birds like rhino auklets diving for mouthfuls of herring, it looked like. The house itself is very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. I'm very picky about those things and it surpassed my expectations. Suzanne is so nice and made us feel at home. We explored the island a bit but spend most of our time here, having breakfast and lunch on the deck, sketching and reading or just watching from the window-seats indoors. Often after dark, we'd hear the orcas swimming by the house, their huffing-snorting sounds coming in the open bedroom windows. Falling asleep to the sounds of waves and orcas - it doesn't get any better!"
