Fun, comfortable & quiet condo
"My husband and I only spent one night at this British themed condo but enjoyed it immensely. We were tempted to cancel the rest of our planned trip to Port Townshend so we could stay here longer! It's just so comfortable and nicely decorated! So many touches that bring smiles! Everything you might want is there including a well stocked kitchen, very comfortable couch and bed (upstairs). It's very quiet (zero noise form neighboring condos) and peaceful overlooking the golf course but what we really loved were all the gorgeous tall trees just outside the balcony. We had wine on the balcony in the evening and coffee there in the morning! It's a very short walk to the lake. We didn't have a chance to use the kayaks but hope to next time. This is a great place to stay if you're exploring Bellingham like we were; it's only a short, and very pretty drive. It would also be a great destination in itself to enjoy the many lakes and even golfing! It's really so peaceful here! Gary made the reservation and payment very easy. And the rate is extremely reasonable for this quality vacation rental. We recommend it highly and look forward to returning ourselves."

"My wife and I stayed at this cozy little house for 6 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed all the comforts of home and the surrounding yard was beautiful. The location was perfect...very quiet...kind of centralized for our activities. Mt Baker was relatively close as was Canada. I would recommend and come back to this little house any day. Trish was very friendly and we enjoyed picking the blueberries on the property...nothing like fresh blueberry pancakes in the morning."

"My wife and I have stayed here during the summer months for more than ten years, and we plan to keep coming back, partly to escape Arizona's hot summers but also because it's such a charming place to stay. The owner has updated each room this year: the living room has new leather recliners, drapes, area rug, entertainment center, table, and lamp; the bedroom has been painted to coordinate with new bedding and drapes; and the bathroom colors were updated. Other reviewers have raved about the great view of Lake Whatcom, but we also enjoy the almost-daily sightings of deer and bald eagles. The home is meticulously maintained, and the kitchen has everything an avid cook could ask for. Great for short stays or for longer stays. Truly our home away from home for the foreseeable future!"

"Loved it!! Chalet was exactly as it was described on website and more! Views from decks spectacular as was the paddle round the lake. We live in a rural location without street lighting ourselves & therefore it was like a home from home. Loved watching the various birds coming down to feed. As we were over for our sons wedding it was great location for entertaining other friends/family who had made the trip (including the couple in the studio) as we would have done back home.
If we have the opportunity to return to Bellingham will be looking to rebook here if available."
