"First off, we want to THANK our hosts for keeping their rates very reasonable and no cleaning fee--very, very appreciated!
Bakerview Retreat is definitely a retreat--the loft bedroom windows (great bed and cozy space!)make you feel like you are in your own personal treehouse looking out into the woods. Since our visit was in Spring there was much greenery and birdsong, really enjoyed that. Everything was very clean, we loved that there were two different kinds of coffee makers plus an electric kettle to boot! Plus the wonderful hosts provided some coffee to get you started, plus water bottles and granola bars for both of us.
No stovetop or oven but there is a small fridge, microwave, toaster etc, plus a small gas grill on the deck we were able to use for dinner one night.
The bathroom is modern and spotless but it is downstairs and the bedroom is up somewhat steep stairs--just so you know if you have leg problems and have the need to use the bathroom frequently it is something to keep in mind.
We highly recommend this property!"

"Our family (elderly parents, sister, husband and I) were travelling to visit my mothers cousin in Bellingham.... we choose to stay at Fairhaven Classic, because it was located within walking distance to great shopping, good restaurants, historic buildings....and the house was adorable! It met all our needs, clean, comfortable, well stocked, in a safe neighbourhood, and charming. We were sad to leave after 2 nights, and hope we have the opportunity to return.
Favourite restaurants: Breakfast- Harris St Cafe, Lunch-Keenans, Supper-Skylarks, and Asian Bistro (delivery)
In the evening visit the boardwalk for sunset, moon rise, trains....music.
Favourite shops: A Lot of Flowers, Chuckanut Gallery and Garden.
If traveling from Victoria? Washington State Ferry Sidney to Anacortes!
Thankyou Amy for all your help in making our stay a wonderful memory!"

"This cabin is fantastic!!! Quaint, comfortable, clean, and relaxing. Out of the city but still close. It had EVERYTHING needed for two nights or a month. We even saw a baby fawn moments after being born. This is one of the best VRBO homes I have ever stayed in!"

"Oh my goodness…this place is just wonderful. Our daughter goes to Western Washington University so thought it would be great to be close to her during our spring break. We were very happy with this location and the house is very clean and well maintained. It is neatly decorated and also comfortable. The beach is right outside the living room with a sliding glass door. The porch is large with lots of area and lots of chairs for people to sit. Also a cool fire pit right off the front on the beach. The teenagers loved the loft with the air hockey and even enjoyed playing games with the older folks at the kitchen table which has leaves and extra chairs. We had 10 people sitting there at one time. Other neat stuff we enjoyed….fireplace, beach combing, watching seals in the water in front of the house…just a great place to hang out and visit. I have the distinct feeling the owners love their place and really want people to enjoy themselves while staying here. They are more than accommodating. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay here again. Thank-you!!"
