"A beautiful home in a quiet gated community. Very easy to work with owners and it all went flawlessly. We are quilters and they kindly set out extra tables for us. the walk to birch bay is just minutes down a paved access road. Very short walk down a hill. The home is up on the very short hill to see the bay and great sunsets. Very quiet, just what we were looking for. Will definitely stay again."

"This was a wonderful cabin with plenty of space to easily fit two families with a total of 6 children. It was comfortable, warm, and contemporary. There is a large deck outside and a nearby river beds containing amazing fossils of plants and vegetation from the Eocene period, and a short drive to Mt. Baker Ski Area as well as numerous trails and nearby adventures. Glacier is nearby with great food options and Maple Valley a few miles away has a large market. We loved it and would be happy to come back someday."

"Our families were supposed to go to the eastside, but the smoke was so bad, decided we'd stay on the west and visited this great getaway on Mt Baker. The house was very well equipped with plenty of condiments and cooking gear as well as about 10 pairs of Sasquatch slippers for the whole crew. The owner's were very easy to deal with it and extremely gracious when we lost power (the entire area was down) for about 10 hours during a windstorm (400,000+ lost power in the Seattle area where we escaped from). There was a great creek for the kids to explore about a half mile away and all it in all it was a great little getaway. Just one note, no internet and no cell access, though they have a landline and lots of DVD, a Wii, etc. Be a great location for winter exploration of Mt Baker."

"As a VRBO veteran I can attest this place is terrific! The home has everything you'd expect and more. Very comfortable and far more spacious than you'd think. The setting on the beach is absolutely perfect. Owner was very helpful and easy to work with."
