"We loved our stay here on San Juan Island. Breakfasts and dinners on the deck overlooking the water were wonderful. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and barbecuing. There was a bald eagle nest in one of the trees outside the front door, and my college-age son took some wonderful photos. My two children and their two cousins enjoyed the sleeping loft, while the main bedroom suited my husband and I just great. Friday Harbor town was a short drive away."

"If you are looking for a very quiet place to stay, this is the place. Sit and watch the ferry, sailboats and other boats come and go. The home is well equipped. Great internet and cell service for those who cannot leave the office behind. A working stero would have been nice."

"Property location was perfect. It made it difficult to leave to explore the San Juan islands because we thought we had the best views. We watched sea otters and bald eagles feeding each morning from the back deck."

"I rented this condo for a weekend getaway with my husband and 2 year-old. The condo was very nice, clean and had several amenities (e.g., an outdoor gas grill, small washer/dryer, TV, DVD/VCR). The patio door leads out to the lawn where my son motored around on his trike for most of the time. There are a couple kids toys, VHS tapes, and a high-chair that straps to a regular chair (bonus!) The beach across the street is accessible during low tide, when all of the water is out. We mostly went to the state park, which is a quick drive in the car. Be sure to go grocery shopping before getting to Birch Bay, there are not many stores or restaurants. We went during the "off" season, so a lot of things were closed. It's a great getaway for quiet time with the family, lots of cooking, rolling around in the grass, going to the pool, watching beautiful sunsets, and reading books."
