"My husband and I just returned from an anniversary vacation to San Juan Island where we were fortunate enough to stay at Haro Haiku. The photos do not adequately portray just how beautiful and serene this home is. And the views alone will take your breath away! The kitchen was well-stocked, the furnishings were attractive and comfortable, the master bathroom was gorgeous, and did I mention the views! You can see the Haro Strait from the kitchen, dining area, living area and master bedroom. Stunning! We chose the west side of the island to hopefully catch some views of Orcas, and were greeted by them about an hour after we arrived and then every day thereafter. Haro Haiku is also conveniently located near all of the main attractions on San Juan Island. There is great hiking at Lime Kiln Park, Mount Grant and American Camp. Roche and Friday Harbor are not far away if you seek restaurants, museums, kayak/boat rentals, or whale watching tours. Overall a wonderful anniversary. Thank you Stephanie!"

"I was a little concerned about staying because right after we booked the place, there was a bad review. However, I didn't agree with that review. It said the bed slumped to the center, but we didn't find this to be true. It wasn't a very firm mattresses but it was nice and comfortable, did not slump. It had everything we needed. The view was great! We did get a little lost getting there following the iPhone map, but Harvey's directions were good. We met Our 1 year old enjoyed the cats and deer. I would stay again!"

"This was our first trip to the San Juan Islands. We were traveling with long time friends and this house was perfect for us. The view was fantastic and the patio was so inviting. She has everything that you need, even the firewood for the fire pit and charcoal and lighter for the grill. The quiet was refreshing. We could hear a car every so often but that was all. Donna had the menus to nearby restaurants which was helpful when we had lunch out. The San Juan Islands are a wonder. The water views, the friendliness of the islanders, the small villages and much more made this a memorable trip. We also did a whale watching tour from the island and that was exciting to see the hump backs and all their majesty. We would be glad to stay here again if we are fortunate enough to get to visit again."

"We booked Sawmill Creek Cottage for the first leg of our retirement trip. Our favorite places to stay are on the water, close to tourist activities but far enough away for privacy and peacefulness. This choice was perfect! Phebe and Victor provided every amenity you could want in the most cozy, sparkling clean cottage. It was definitely a wonderful 'piece of heaven' on earth!"
