Lazy sunsets across the bay...
"We wanted a quiet, peaceful getaway and this ON-the-bay cottage delivered! As each day faded, we kicked our shoes off, opened up a bottle of wine and watched the gentle bay slowly change hues as the sun sank beyond the horizon. After a day exploring the island's many nearby natural attractions -- Spencer Spit, Iceberg Point, Watmough Bay -- we would return "home," sink into the comfortable furnishings and extend a toast to our good fortune in finding this one-of-a-kind property. A short walk away, we enjoyed the Love Dog Cafe, shopped at the Lopez Market and purchased delectable, drinkable souvenirs from the Lopez Island Vineyard. All in all, the Bay Inlet Beach Cottage is the perfect week-long escape for the weary traveler. We hope to make the trek from Iowa to this island gem again and again."

"When visiting any island destination, we always choose a waterfront property for the view. On our first trip to San Juan Island, we took a chance on a property close to town. We did not regret our decision. Tami was a pleasure to work with and reservation was an ease. The townhouse is clean, well-appointed and cozy. The living room is comfortable and we enjoyed the large flat screen TV. The kitchen, dining table and patio were spacious and had everything you could possibly need. The upstairs bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Having a garage available was a convenient amenity especially when it rained. The town of Friday Harbor is quaint and the locals friendly. We also drove to Roche Harbor and enjoyed that as well especially our visit to the historic Hotel de Haro and the giant lime kilns from the 1800s. We truly enjoyed our trip and the townhouse was the perfect rental for us. Thank you, Tami!"

"What a fantastic house and wonderful location!! We were 8 people with my wife and I, three kids under 12, my parents and sister. There is enough room for everyone to have their own space. The view from the house is spectacular, and we loved to have tea time out on the deck to enjoy the view. The kids loved the loft area, board games, ping pong and closeness to the resort amenities. They loved to go down to the resort to play tether ball and shuffle board. But what the kids liked best is all the crabs and hermit crabs they found on the beach by the resort. I had a great time fishing with my 7 year old son. We went to the rock piling or the dock early or late and caught different kind of fish. Also the Moran state park next door has great fishing places. We've rented many rental houses before, and we think this house was the best stocked. It has everything!
We will definitely be back."

"My wife and I spent our anniversary weekend here and it was wonderful. A warm and inviting interior paired with brisk evenings and a hot tub made for a very nice combination. We really enjoyed getting the chance to "disconnect" from cell phones and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The people are friendly and the community is well maintained. We're hikers and there were plenty from which to choose. Some are a challenge so make sure to bring appropriate shoes and extra pairs of socks. We definitely plan on visiting again."
