"my family and i had an amazingly fun time staying at the round house right before the new year. we have two small children which the house was perfect for! not only is the house round but it's very modern, clean, and simple in a good way (which i was thankful for having small children). the kitchen was well stocked with cooking needs - great cookware, knives, gas stove (i like to cook, can you tell?). there was plenty of movies and music to choose from. the property was quiet, peaceful, and beautiful (even in the winter). my kids loved the hottub with outdoor speakers and exploring the rocks on the beach during low tide. we had a fabulous time and will be back for sure!"

"Have you ever wanted to live on an island away from city stress? Than come to Lummi Island, a quiet sister to the neighboring San Juan Islands. A few short minutes on the Whatcom Ferry you arrive on an island that is calming, friendly and soothing to the soul. Hunt for sea glass on the expansive shores of the island. Gaze out to sea and transport back in time to the days of old. Greet the friendly native islanders and bathe in their returned hellos. Marcia, the owner is a one of a kind lady, with a one of a kind cottage for you to share."

It doesn't get better than this for a memorable family vacation and more
"What an absolutely wonderful home for our family of 5 during Memorial Day weekend, 2015. The spaciousness, cleanliness, kitchen completeness and location made this so easy for vacation. The oysters in front of the house with the BBQ on the deck helped make yummy dinners. The 4 bikes in the garage, boat at the bay, swing, basketball hoop, and hockey table downstairs made the house a great starting off point for adventures. The location is superb: close to town but not too close; close to the water but with privacy. But the best part of the house were our hosts, Dennis and Susan. Our son is staying on the island to work for the summer and we know that he has a family there if he needs one who would welcome him and help him navigate through challenges. Dennis and Susan are just those kind of people and they make their extra home that welcoming. I shared our Thai curried oyster recipe with Dennis and he shared his knowledge of marine life and the island with us. A home and hosts for a family vacation cannot get better than this."

"Semi private. Saw next door neighbors a few times. No life jackets to wear for kayaking so bring your own. Quiet & peaceful. We slept soundly. Fully equipped kitchen. Tons of wildlife to watch & admire. Wood stove warmed cabin quickly. Steep ladder to master bed in loft. Would be uncomfortable having young children up there. Clean!! Enjoyed ourselves. Memorable stay. Beautiful cabin."
