  • Was a great fit for our family!

"We had 9 people and the house worked great for us. We really liked the area it was in, especially walking down to the harbor to see the boats! The kitchen and living areas were spacious, plenty of hot water for everyone... really nothing to complain about! :)"

  • Cedar House in Olga

"The house was light, clean and cheerful. We had a cozy time putting together puzzles and enjoying the great restaurants and shops as well as beautiful hikes on Orcas. Although there are not many services close by, the island is so small that reaching restaurants, shops and beautiful hiking was not difficult. We DID have trouble getting off the island as some ferries were cancelled so bear that in mind when making your travel plans."

  • Beautiful house and wonderful stay

"My family rented this beautiful house for a one week stay in summer 2014 and absolutely loved it. The house is spacious (we comfortably fit 6 adults and a small dog), with gorgeous views and plenty of space to hang around and relax. The location is also nice, in a wooded area within walking distance of Moran state park, and a short drive into town. (You will want a car if you stay here.) Orcas Island is also a great island to visit, with a cute little town and lots of good food. Definitely don't miss Brown Bear Baking, Kathryn Taylor Chocolates, or Doe Bay Cafe. Highly recommend this place."

  • Lovely Stay :)

"The house is much bigger in person then it looks in pictures. The master upstairs has an awesome attached bathroom with a nice big oversized tub. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, easy to find. When we stayed there, the stovetop worked, but the oven did not, which was kinda a bummer. The owners had let me know a couple days before we got there that we wouldn’t be able to use it. But it didn’t turn out to be too big of an issue. I am VERY happy to say we only ate out ONE time during our 5 day vacation in Bellingham – the rest of our meals were homemade. We used the stove top and microwave quite a bit. =) The basement stayed nice and cool – upstairs got a little stuffy. We tried to use the air conditioning, but it didn’t feel like it was working. Luckily we came at a beautiful time of year where mostly all we needed to do was keep windows open to catch a breeze. Everything was spotless in the house and we enjoyed having the extra space very much. Whatcom Falls Park is about 5 minutes away – it is a beautiful, FREE, easy hike. We have family in Bellingham who showed us where you could jump off cliffs into the water there. =) I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Bellingham. Especially because ONE hotel room isn’t much cheaper! Spend a little extra and get some more space to feel like home."
