"I rented this cottage for one month and wish I could have stayed for six. At the very least, the cottage is well located, comfortably appointed, private and safe. But it's so much more. On arrival, you will wind up a half-mile gravel driveway into the lovely, sprawling property surrounding the cottage. A large flower and veggie garden is the first thing you see, a chicken coup the second. The cottage is set back from the road, which leads up further to the owners' house. It has a delightful living room with fantastic gas stove and good lighting, a table for working or eating, a radio/CD player, and a tv/DVD player. The kitchen is completely functional and has all the necessary appliances. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom clean and bright. Upstairs, the loft area has two beds and a window to the forest beyond. The whole place is just inviting, with sweet touches like old fashioned quilts on the beds, cheerful art, fresh flowers. The front porch is a great place to sit with morning coffee and look out over the garden. Susan and Wally were such friendly, open hosts. I tried not to bother them much, but if I did, they were always exceedingly kind and generous and quick to meet my particular need. This is a beautiful place to stay. I absolutely loved it and will be back."
