Recent Mount Baker reviews
"Our family had a great time at Mount Baker -- There was 9 of us and it fit us pretty well. If there was another double bed in the one bedroom rather than a twin it would have been perfect -- but it still was great -- The family went up to Mt Baker two days and made our own sledding hill. IT WAS GREAT! We watched movies -- played games and used the hot tub both nights. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. The owners are great to work with and it is only a 3 hour drive from Seattle"

"Loved this place! We brought our dog and stayed for the weekend with friends. It is in a beautiful community only a 2 min walk to a park on the river. We had a great time hiking, relaxing, and drinking wine. We would definitely come again. Next time we will bring more people as this place could easily fit 4 couples. The kitchen is well appointed with everything we needed for an easy weekend away."

Amazing country beauty and close to wonderful activities
"We spent a quick Christmas holiday at this lovely waterfront chalet near Mt. Baker. There was plenty of room for us to bring our 2 adult sons and our teen-aged daughter. The cooking facilities were phenomenal and our son cooked some truly gourmet meals for our extended family to join us and enjoy as well. The 12 seat table was perfect for our Christmas company.
The chalet was close to amazing "rain forest like" hikes and we loved the short trek to Mt. Baker to ski. I was delighted that our area was not snow bound but within a 20 minute drive we were in a white snow covered winter wonderland and the skiing was outstanding! We also took a trek into Vancouver discovering their aquarium and Stanley Park, a short drive away (bring your passport).
I would highly recommend this chalet. There is wifi and a land line though no cell reception. Bring a few DVD's though as they have a lovely TV/DVD set up but nothing to watch in the evening. There are cards and games for inside fun and an outdoor fire pit and hot tub. It's amazing what we were able to enjoy in a quick 5 night stay!!"

"I've been staying at the Contemporary Snowline Chalet for the past 4 years and love it! The hot tub is always ready for us when we arrive, the kitchen is fully equipped for our large group meals, and the Mt. Baker Ski Area is a fix 25 minute drive up the road. The house is spacious in both the living room and bedrooms. One gotcha - the stove is an induction stove. Most cookware doesn't work with it unless it's cast-iron or an inductive steel (stainless steel does not work). It's also a bit tough to figure out the stove, but the most trouble we had was it not working due to using non-inductive cookware.
It's overall a beautiful house and I can't wait to visit again next year!"
