Ideal location and good lodging for a hiking weekend
"We drove up from Seattle for a few days of hiking around the Mt Baker area. The condo is ideally situated in a quiet complex near the town of Glacier with good access to trailheads. The complex has two pools and Jacuzzis and the condo itself is set up nicely for cooking, relaxing, sleeping and washing hiking clothes. The condo and complex are a little dated but clean and well appointed for a week or weekend stay. Glacier has several good dining options and a handy little store. Highly recommend this condo for a ski or hiking getaway."

"First of all the owner was very easy to work with. This condo was basic but provided everything we needed to prepare meals and sleep comfortably. The property grounds are fantastic. My girls enjoyed the pool/hot tub area each day and were albe to ride bikes along the river. This complex is quiet and felt safe. LOVED the small town of Glacier! The surrounding area hikes were BEAUTIFUL. We enjoyed fishing on a nearby resort called SilverLake. I would love to be back in the winter. We had so much fun!"

"I've been staying at the Contemporary Snowline Chalet for the past 4 years and love it! The hot tub is always ready for us when we arrive, the kitchen is fully equipped for our large group meals, and the Mt. Baker Ski Area is a fix 25 minute drive up the road. The house is spacious in both the living room and bedrooms. One gotcha - the stove is an induction stove. Most cookware doesn't work with it unless it's cast-iron or an inductive steel (stainless steel does not work). It's also a bit tough to figure out the stove, but the most trouble we had was it not working due to using non-inductive cookware.
It's overall a beautiful house and I can't wait to visit again next year!"

"This is the 2nd time we've used this cabin and both times it has proved a hit us and our guests. There's pretty much everything you'd need there for a great weekend in summer or winter. The place is also immaculately clean and well maintained.
The only we hassle we had was a blown fuse. Murray was very obliging in explaining where the fuse box is located so it was never really an issue.
We'll be staying there again for sure."
