  • Great place to stay

"7 of us celebrated my girlfriend's 30th here for a ski weekend. It's a great place to stay. My only recommendation is to bring your own air mattress if you are more than 6 ppl. We did bring one and we're so happy we did. The pull out is not suitable for sleeping. It was even a bit hard to sit on in the couch position. We were playing board games and most ppl couldn't sit on it for the duration of the game. Other than that it was excellent. Also it was a good distance from Baker and about equidistant from the two main places you might eat out at. We will definitely be staying there again"

  • Perfect little cabin to "unplug"

"We rented this little gem for a weekend when visiting our daughter. We love the Pacific Northwest and wanted to see the Mount Baker area. The cabin is rustic, but it was a perfect little gem. It has all the modern conveniences you need....and some you just really don't need in order to "unplug" from the daily grind. Being unplugged enabled our family to really connect and spend time together without the outside usual distractions. It's convenient to a host of special places to hike, eat and just relax. The cabin itself is lovely and relaxing. Definitely a place I will rent again!"

  • Amazing country beauty and close to wonderful activities

"We spent a quick Christmas holiday at this lovely waterfront chalet near Mt. Baker. There was plenty of room for us to bring our 2 adult sons and our teen-aged daughter. The cooking facilities were phenomenal and our son cooked some truly gourmet meals for our extended family to join us and enjoy as well. The 12 seat table was perfect for our Christmas company. The chalet was close to amazing "rain forest like" hikes and we loved the short trek to Mt. Baker to ski. I was delighted that our area was not snow bound but within a 20 minute drive we were in a white snow covered winter wonderland and the skiing was outstanding! We also took a trek into Vancouver discovering their aquarium and Stanley Park, a short drive away (bring your passport). I would highly recommend this chalet. There is wifi and a land line though no cell reception. Bring a few DVD's though as they have a lovely TV/DVD set up but nothing to watch in the evening. There are cards and games for inside fun and an outdoor fire pit and hot tub. It's amazing what we were able to enjoy in a quick 5 night stay!!"

  • Cozy Chalet

"3 couples had a great time here over New Year's. The house was very clean, comfortable, roomy but still cozy. We took advantage of the well-stocked kitchen and cooked every meal. We loved that the house was heated by fireplaces. The location is great - the last community before the road up to Baker and very close to Chair 9. The managing company was very responsive. Our only suggestion was that a coffee table would be nice, and more coffee mugs. We hope to come back!"
