  • Clean, secluded, and PERFECT.

"I'm not a big review writer but this property was my first VRBO experience and it was exceptional. It is very clean and has absolutely everything you could possibly need, from extra towels and soap to extra spices. I was a little disappointed that the main glass doors were locked and we weren't able to enter and exit through them. There aren't any grocery stores nearby so prepare for that and no cell phone service. The cell phone service definitely isn't missed but come with music for an ipod dock or your own movies for the dvd player. Overall, pictures don't do it justice. Great cabin and can't wait to return in the winter!"

  • 16 Year Old Birthday/Girls Weekend

"We rented this house for a "girls weekend" for our 16 year olds birthday, big splurge but lots of fun! It's a beautiful house, the girls were duly impressed and felt very spoiled. Lots of nice touches that aren't found everywhere - heated tile floors in the bathrooms, excellent lighting design and it's in a gorgeous area. Contemporary and spa like are definitely true. The owner even arranged for the volleyball net to be left up for us after the summer season ended."

  • Peace, quiet, and comfort

"My family and dog spent a wonderful weekend at this cottage. The place is very comfortable, and we enjoyed every minute. Prepare your children for no-internet! We made sure both of our boys brought their hobbies - so they ended up spending a lot of time hand-painting miniatures and playing guitar. There really isn't any cell phone reception, but that turned out to be a very good thing. I had occasional pangs of longing for the internet, but I soon discovered that it's easy to get along without it. (it's sort of the point of a family vacation, isn't it?) We played board games as a family - and we watched movies, read books, soaked in the hot tub, and went for walks. There's a good pizza restaurant within walking distance, so we didn't need to do a lot of cooking. It's so nice just to sit on the couch and look up at the chalet style ceiling. There is a lot of natural daylight and a lovely wraparound porch. Highly recommended!"

  • beautiful and clean

"My family of four stayed here in July. It was beautiful, clean, and quiet. My 2 children (ages 10&12) loved the loft area as well as fishing on the lake. The fire pit for making smores was a big hit too. Having stayed at rental homes before, we were impressed with the cleanliness of this home. It is well taken care of! The welcoming bouquet of flowers on the counter was a wonderful touch. The hot tub was clean and ready upon our arrival. The home is well stocked with everything and anything you need. If there was anything minor to say, it is that the washer has an odor from other guests not allowing the machine to dry after use or lack of wiping it down after it's used. Besides that, it is a perfect home on a beautiful secluded road."
