  • Like owning your own island paradise.

"Have you ever wanted to live on an island away from city stress? Than come to Lummi Island, a quiet sister to the neighboring San Juan Islands. A few short minutes on the Whatcom Ferry you arrive on an island that is calming, friendly and soothing to the soul. Hunt for sea glass on the expansive shores of the island. Gaze out to sea and transport back in time to the days of old. Greet the friendly native islanders and bathe in their returned hellos. Marcia, the owner is a one of a kind lady, with a one of a kind cottage for you to share."

  • Beautiful views and very nicely kept property

"Our family of four recently spent three nights here while attending the wedding of our friends on Lummi Island. We had never been to the Island before and very much enjoyed our stay. The property is very well kept and maintained, and the views from the large deck are gorgeous. We saw many birds from the deck and enjoyed the tranquillity of the property. There is a very small lake with a grassy area, picnic tables and a cabana that is a short drive from the property that is accessible to guests. Our children (3 and 5) enjoyed a morning swimming and playing at the lake. The kitchen in the house was very well outfitted with dishes, cooking utensils, cutlery, etc. which made it easy to prepare meals. My one caution for families with young children is that there are many fine knick-knacks and collectables around the house so I would recommend doing a quick "child proofing" sweep before letting the kids loose. :)"

  • Great Getaway

"This house was fantastic. There were 6 of us friends there for a getaway. The kitchen had everything we needed, the rooms were lovely and the living room was perfect for sitting around and catching up. I didn't get a chance to meet the owner because I missed the ferry! whoops;my friends met with the owners friend and were shown around the house. The hot tub and deck were nice although it was raining very heavily the weekend we were there we still hopped in. The house was exactly as advertized and clean and lovely and we will definitely be back next year. Thank you!"

  • Great Time

"We had our staff retreat weekend at this beautiful home! The house is comfortable and nicely decorated. There was plenty of room for 8 adults. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and dishes. The dishwasher was a bonus! Despite the rain, we enjoyed walking on the beach and watching the fog roll in on the deck. A beautiful place to rent!"
