"We spent 3 wonderful days at Golden Hours 2- great house for 3 generations - plenty of toys for a 15 month old and another whole closet we found on the last day filled with costumes and more toys! Garrett and Liz were very gracious- even setting up the high chair and bib upon our arrival. The house was beautiful- even better than the pictures- kitchen had every possible appliance you would need for cooking and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the Beach Store Café- great breakfasts, pizza and lots of friendly locals. We were celebrating our birthdays at the Willows Inn- a real experience- world famous chef and enjoyed all the different foods he prepared from local sources on Lummi. I certainly recommend this home- hope to return in summer weather to enjoy the firepit and beach."

"We greatly enjoyed our stay at Full Bloom Farm. The cottage is large, with a well appointed kitchen and it is very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need and the owners generously shared their farm fresh eggs with us. The deck is great and we ate every meal out there. You can see Mt. Baker from the property and it was great to have access to a bicycle to explore the Island. Sunset Beach and the beach by the church were both fantastic. We saw deer and eagles while there. The Beach Store Cafe is terrific and had we had more time we would have visited the lounge at the Willows. All in all a wonderful place!"

"Our vacation selection for Lummi Island was to find a home near the water, where we could relax and read while enjoying the serene mountain scene, along with family and two grandsons, and find plenty to keep the boys busy (only one television was sometimes challenging). The Eagles Rest home was spacious and roomy for all of us with a well stocked and equipped kitchen. We found we didn't need to purchase paper towels, napkins or toilet paper, and noted the large selection of spices for cooking meals. Occasional lunch or dinner out was a treat at the Beach Store Cafe and we were able to locate several geo cache locations with the grandsons finding hidden treasures. A downed tree during a weekend storm took out the electricity and television signal, but the home was equipped with a generator for emergency power. Our only disappointment was the condition of the carpeting on the stairs and in the master bedroom as it appeared dirty with obvious stains on the lighter carpeting in the upper areas. We felt cleaning/damage fees charged previous occupants could have been used to take care of this matter."

"If you are looking for a very quiet place to stay, this is the place. Sit and watch the ferry, sailboats and other boats come and go. The home is well equipped. Great internet and cell service for those who cannot leave the office behind. A working stero would have been nice."
