"Very well kept and spacious home right along the water. Needless to say, the view was amazing. The 3 young kids (ages 2,3 and 7) were always occupied both indoors (stocked with almost everything you can imagine from toys to board games) and outdoors (looking for clams, crabs starfishes, etc.). Even when the sun went down we had a great time around the fire pit.
The place itself was amazing and well laid out, however I was most impressed with the owner (Garrett). The details (along with a few personal touches) and thought put into making our stay welcoming was refreshing, and he made himself available to answer any questions I had during our stay with a quick reply. Not only that, my deposit was back in my hands exactly a week later.
Like I said: great place, great owners!

"Have you ever wanted to live on an island away from city stress? Than come to Lummi Island, a quiet sister to the neighboring San Juan Islands. A few short minutes on the Whatcom Ferry you arrive on an island that is calming, friendly and soothing to the soul. Hunt for sea glass on the expansive shores of the island. Gaze out to sea and transport back in time to the days of old. Greet the friendly native islanders and bathe in their returned hellos. Marcia, the owner is a one of a kind lady, with a one of a kind cottage for you to share."

"My school chums and I have been renting homes for years and this home is on the top of the list. We had been trying to find a place on Lummi Island that could accommodate 10 and we were happy to find this one. Loved the home, the view and sunsets were fabulous and the beach fun to explore. We found trails for both our hikers and walkers.
We dine in so the kitchen (love that frig) and dining room were perfect along with the deck and BBQ.
The property managers were great to work with and helpful.
We absolutely would return and recommend to others."

"Our family of four recently spent three nights here while attending the wedding of our friends on Lummi Island. We had never been to the Island before and very much enjoyed our stay. The property is very well kept and maintained, and the views from the large deck are gorgeous. We saw many birds from the deck and enjoyed the tranquillity of the property. There is a very small lake with a grassy area, picnic tables and a cabana that is a short drive from the property that is accessible to guests. Our children (3 and 5) enjoyed a morning swimming and playing at the lake. The kitchen in the house was very well outfitted with dishes, cooking utensils, cutlery, etc. which made it easy to prepare meals. My one caution for families with young children is that there are many fine knick-knacks and collectables around the house so I would recommend doing a quick "child proofing" sweep before letting the kids loose. :)"
