"Our time spent on Orcas Island was enhanced by staying in such a great vintage home. For beginners, it is located in one of the best spots--you can walk to a beach, or into the quaint little town which abounds with restaurants and shops. Don't bring any books or movies--there are "hundreds" in the home to choose from. The kitchen has everything you would need to cook a gourmet meal for many. The owners are fabulous and live right there on the island. We had a small group so we didn't even begin to use all the space. This home easily could accommodate a large group. It is a perfect setting for a family reunion, or other large gathering. We were there in September and weather was beautiful. I hope we will be able to return someday with the rest of our family. Highly recommend, especially for large groups."

"This home was PERFECT for our group which included our family of five adults, my parents, and two small dogs. Everyone had their own place to sleep and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy the beautiful, comfortable, and modern amenities. Our most favorite part of this home was sitting on the spacious deck with our coffee (or happy hour beverage) and watching all the boats and float planes come in and out of the marina. The front room sectional and chairs were so comfortable and provided adequate seating for our group (wish I knew where they bought the sectional; I want one for my bonus room!), while the large table was nearby for dice and card games. The large kitchen was great for meal prepping and well stocked.
My only two notes of caution: While the location of the home is almost next door to Mount Constitution (beautiful hikes) and a short drive to Eastsound (shopping, restaurants), it is somewhat hilly and not conducive to long walks or flat bike rides near the home. The home's multiple stairs with its beautiful - but slick - wood flooring, could also be an issue with elderly renters. (I was a little nervous with my mom who has some physical limitations.)
Bottom line - we LOVED this home and recommend it to large parties (who may want to bring along their four-legged family members). Thank you for sharing your home!"

"Loved our stay at the condo! It's the perfect location to explore Eastsound. We are a family of 4 and were greeted with a pack n play for our 16 month old. (So appreciated!) I wouldn't change anything about our visit. It was perfect! We will be back."

"After carefully analyzing all the available houses on Orcas I hit the jackpot with my selection of Seacliff. I live on a tropical island with ocean views from the pool and lanai so was totally delighted with the amazing view from the elevated deck's spa tub. Loved the gas grill and cooked "at home" for 3 out of 4 nights. As others have noted the house is impeccably designed and furnished, thoughtful in all the amenities and beautifully situated for privacy. No neighbors, noise or lights. Doug's warm personal and thorough review of Seacliff and the area had me feeling settled in within minutes. The high point of my stay was watching the supermoon rise on a cloudless night and the ensuing eclipse. Priceless experience and a memory that will have me dreaming of this hideaway for years to come. I spent an entire day lounging in the window seat reading and watching the passing marine life and listening to the water. The house was the perfect size for a lady looking for tranquility, a change of scenery and an environment different from her own place in paradise."
