Spectacular view at a terrific price for the San Juan Islands!
"We had a family of 6 stay at this affordable apartment half way up Mt Constitution, the view of the water and surrounding islands could not have been more beautiful, make sure you are around for the one of a kind sunsets, truly, some of the most spectacular water and island views in the country. My children loved the zip line and feeding apples to the local deer(will eat from your hand if you are slow and deliberate!) Quiet and secluded if a bit close to the main house. Naomi was gracious, warm and helpful. A wonderful time was had by all! A super deal for the price. The kitchen could use a few things for cooking for 6 people but nothing you can't figure out if you are game. The futon in the living room was big enough for two but a bit thin for my older mother in law, we padded it ourselves with some extra sleeping bags and she said she slept great!"

"It's a large spacious house that was just right for 4 couples. We all had our own space which was great! We were surprised and disappointed that the beds weren't made when we arrived. We didn't expect to have to make our own beds considering the cost of the house. Everything else was very comfortable with lots of extras! We enjoyed spending a lot of time on the deck looking at the scenery and watching for whales. The only disappointment was that the bushes in front of the deck needed trimmed back so they interfered somewhat with our view. We enjoyed the hot tub and also walking down to the beach. We had a great time!"

"The historical Baker home was just perfect for our large family -- fun and a little funky, with large rooms filled with books and toys and games and tons of cooking equipment -- a true home! Gerry Baker was a warm and accomodating owner. We were on Orcas to celebrate the 70th wedding anniversary of our parents. We set up tables near the apple trees on the huge lawn. Plenty of room to play catch and frisbee. The kids loved the place. When it got cold, plenty of room inside to hang out and talk. I love that the furniture didn't all match but everything was clean and nice. If you want someplace that feels like home for a large family, this is it, just a few minutes walk to town. Thanks so much, Gerry!"

"You know you are staying in an utterly breathtaking gorgeous location when you are in mid sentence (several times), lose your train of thought and forget what you were talking about ......all to do with the beauty all around you. This place will knock your panties off with the views and location along with an awesome fire pit, hot tub and patio. WE loved waking up to the birds singing while the sun was rising over Mt. Baker and the Olympic Mountains. We tend to not stay at our accomodations for very long as we are out exploring......however, at this little cabin at the edge of heaven, we never wanted to leave. In the morning, we would wake up, sip coffee on the patio, then slide into the hot tub to watch the sun come up. I think we took over 50 pictures just at the cabin. The loft was super cute. Made me feel like a kid again based on how excited it made me. The view from the loft was stunning...the bed was super comfy. The cabin has everything you need... just bring some food and coffee. I wish I could upload photos because the photos posted here do no do the place justice. I think the owner Victoria wants to leave a surprise for all her guests. Do yourself an favor and book this cabin. You'll felt like you died and went to heaven! Happy Travels!!!"
