  • Truly Amazing Place

"This Vacation Rental is under construction but has another available house to rent which is incredible. It is not listed here but totally worth the rent. The house overlooks San Juan Channel and has the most amazing views; Orcas Island (Turtle Back and gorgeous sunrises) with fishing right in front of the house!! My family caught a 22lb King Salmon right out front, near Rocky Bay and we caught our quota of Spot Prawns nearby!! This house also has it's own hottub in a solarium, it is a two story house with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Laundry facilities available. The property under construction which is available to use with the rental has a private pool and a dock to dock a boat, also a beach to walk on and kayaks and a row boat to use. They also have two resident pygmy goats that our kids absolutely loved and got to feed. The staff there is very helpful and friendly and will offer the use of their crab pots. My wife and i like to Scuba dive and the manager at Yacht Haven is a Master Diver and was very helpful with a basic refresher course for my wife and myself. We loved the properties and the helpful staff and have already booked our next stay for our 2015 family reunion. Thank You Jeff for the wonderful time and the Scuba diving in the pool!! We can't wait to see you next year!!"

  • Lovely, peaceful getaway on the quiet west side of San Juan Island

"Can't recommend Haro Haiku enough. It's a clean, well-appointed home with an amazing view. Lime Kiln Point State Park is just up the road and it's an easy drive into Friday Harbor or (slightly longer) Roche Harbor. If you're looking for tranquility, this is the place for you."

  • Beyond beautiful and amazing!

"We enjoyed every precious moment at this beautiful home with the breathtaking scenery. The home had everything we needed, including a washer and dryer! We enjoyed a campfire one evening. We also explored the beach at low tide and savored the fresh air during high tide. Myself, husband, 12 year old son & 11 year old daughter loved our stay here & we were so sad to leave. We cannot wait to return. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The views from inside the house and outside are gorgeous. The location to Friday Harbor was so convenient. We went exploring at American and English Camps and shopping in Friday Harbor. We went on two whale watching trips and experienced the amazing orcas and beautiful Pacific White Sided Dolphins!!! Thank you so so much to Kristy and Charles for sharing your amazing home and property !!! We look forward to a return trip!"

  • Everything we hoped for

"We had a fabulous stay at Tranquil Cove. The directions and instructions provided in advance were extremely helpful, and the house was well outfitted for our needs. We did a good amount of food prep at the house and all the implements we needed were available. And what a view. We were greeted on arrival by a mother otter swimming in the bay, and spotted one of her babies later in the week. A heron spent every evening fishing in the bay. Several bald eagles, including a young one, were frequently perched in the trees. And to the delight of all we watched orcas from the deck on three out of the seven days. In the evenings we watched 300+ meter cargo vessels coming towards us from the Straits -- and turning north to Port Robert. We used the iPhone MarineTraffic app to identify them: ships from Denmark, South Korea, Japan, and the UK. It was difficult to motivate ourselves to explore the island when we had such a fantastic vantage point just sitting on the deck with a glass of wine."
