"My husband and I stayed here with our two teenage daughters. If you want to see orca whales - this house is a must! Within an hour of arriving, we saw a huge pod of orcas from the deck! My girls were in heaven! We had hoped to see at least one orca on our trip and we ended up seeing them almost everyday from the deck - sometime a couple times in one day! The deck is great - we spent a lot of time just watching the boats go by and enjoying the sunsets! One day we heard a noise off the side of the deck and looked down to see a mama deer and her baby laying down in the grass. We also saw a bald eagle fly by. The house is nice and well stocked. Plenty of room for everyone. My girls enjoyed the piano too. We did a kayaking trip and a whale watching tour, but the house was by far the best place to see orcas for us!"

"What a great place to stay with kiddos, we almost felt guilty not leaving the house enough! It was so relaxing and beautifully kept. Jenny was also very helpful and informative. I would definitely recommend this property for families that want a unique experience on Friday Harbor!"

"This was our first trip to the San Juan Islands and it happened to be for our honeymoon! Do yourself a favor and splurge. This place was the most relaxing, magical, beautiful place I've ever rented through VRBO. The owners and caretakers are excellent communicators. We had lots of information prior to our arrival. We kept in contact with Cheyenne so she knew when to expect us. Upon arrival we received a tour of the home, pool, and property. I for one...was sooo happy to NOT have a TV in the living room of this home. The stereo and views kept us entertained. There is wireless internet and Dish Network, we honestly used them both very little. The internet was a bit spotty but, who cares. You're on a gorgeous island with an amazing home to be in....don't worry so much about the internet! It worked whenever we needed directions. We crabbed right off the dock, caught our max both times. The crab station was awesome! The crab was even more awesome. Bring spices if your cooking requires...I forgot a few things and picked it up at the local store. We did use the boat, only once and for a short time. It was nice to have that option to use. We explored all corners of the island. Ate at the Cask and Schooner twice....so good! We only used the pool twice..i totally thought we'd use it more but we were so busy on hikes, crabbing, and just relaxing that we kind of forgot. Jeff and Cheyenne are amazing hosts. I felt safe having them on the property right at the entrance. They recommended excellent things to do and eat. Had we brought our passports...dinner in Canada (a quick boat ride away) would have been an option. Our little one loved the goats and everything about this place. I could go on forever. Absorb the wonderful scenery and magic of this island! We will be back!"
