"This was our first trip to Orcas Island and I hope it won't be our last. The home is truly beautiful and comfortable. There were three of us, my husband, teenage son, and myself and we loved the cottage. The location is very private, yet it is not difficult to get anywhere you might want to go on the island. We enjoyed restaurants in Eastsound, traveled to Deer Harbor for a kayak tour, drove out to hike at Obstruction Point State Park, and we also spent time hiking in Moran State Park which is very close to the house. The owner is very gracious and helpful, she reminded me via e-mail about the new reservation system for the ferry, which had slipped my mind."

"This was our first trip to the San Juan Islands. We were traveling with long time friends and this house was perfect for us. The view was fantastic and the patio was so inviting. She has everything that you need, even the firewood for the fire pit and charcoal and lighter for the grill. The quiet was refreshing. We could hear a car every so often but that was all. Donna had the menus to nearby restaurants which was helpful when we had lunch out. The San Juan Islands are a wonder. The water views, the friendliness of the islanders, the small villages and much more made this a memorable trip. We also did a whale watching tour from the island and that was exciting to see the hump backs and all their majesty. We would be glad to stay here again if we are fortunate enough to get to visit again."

"Definitely a charming cabin on the south end of the island! Has everything you need for a nice getaway. There are several scenic bike rides right out the front door, but we missed them all due to some wet weather during our stay. Quiet and peaceful for us on a busy wedding weekend for my son. It would rate 5 stars, if not for the sulfur smell in the water (it's perfectly safe to drink, but we bought some jugs at the nearby store so our coffee would taste good). I hope to visit there again! Oh yes, it's only about 15 minutes from Fisherman Village and all those opportunities. Karleen was a gracious hostess!"
