  • Perfect place to enjoy Lopez Island from

"Being "Island" dwellers we are use to ferries but the really laid-back life style of Lopez was new to us. Such a great location to see Lopez yet very convenient to the ferry. This would be a great place for a family gathering with loads of space, yet it worked perfectly for the four of us. Would we come again? In a New York minute!!"

  • Awesome house, great location, wonderful owners

"This place was great! Close to everything on San Juan, with beautiful views, and comfortable accommodations. The towels and bed linens were wonderful. I loved the gas stove, which had a neat burner with an outer and inner ring; made for perfect pancakes. The stars were amazing; I recommend staying here during a full moon. The lake was great and fun to swim in. The owners were so nice to us even though we made a mistake in our departure time. I highly recommend this house."

  • Wonderful retreat spot

"Two of us spent the week between Christmas and New Years at the cottage on Cayou Cove. We are writers and were delighted that there were two places to set up our computers. The accommodations were lovely--comfortable and pleasant. Kitchen had everything we needed, the hot tub was a joy in the evenings, and we appreciated the WIFI and TV. We enjoyed Eastsound and simply walking around Deer Harbor. Would love to come back and spend more time on the deck in the summer!"

  • Crazy house - Unbeatable view

"Could look at that view forever! Saw the deer, they were completely at home. Not a place for anyone with mobility issues but certainly every thing two people needed. Deposit was returned immediately and owner was helpful."

San Juan Islands travel should always include a tour of the islands and the resident plant and wildlife, as well as plenty of whale-watching and dinner cruises.

San Juan Islands Travel at Lopez Island

Local artists offer unique ideas for souvenirs and gifts to take back home, and many farms in the area offer a day of learning about particular crops and harvesting processes. Aside from whale-watching during your San Juan Islands travel, there are many rocky shores and lighthouses located along the shorelines. These lighthouses are easily seen from San Juan Islands lodging on the shores of San Juan Island. Choose a ferry or seaplane to take a tour of all the islands, or schedule a kayak or canoe tour with a larger group. Visitors to San Juan Islands resorts also enjoy Friday Harbor, a town known for its annual celebrations for all to enjoy.
