  • Heaven On Earth

"My husband and I stayed at the Sea Spray Cottage for 5 days. As we write this , one can only think of hearing the surf rolling up on the pristine beach next to our cottage. We even saw eagles flying by! Lopez Island is wonderful , and staying at the south end of this island is perfect, no crowds. You have the place to yourself. Perfect place for couples. All of the pictures are true. Very, Very CLEAN! The gardens are wonderful too. This property is very well maintained. If peace and quiet is what you desire, Sea Spray is the place. We love you guys and will be back! Hugs, Chris and Kathy"

  • 4 Families and 1 good time had!

"Thanks for providing a wonderful house for our use on a great island. First, the logistics...We had 8 adults and 7 kids under the age of 6. Not easy to manage but we had beds for all which was great. We were able to keep the babies isolated so they could nap and the kids had tons of room to play outside. The firepit was great for the adults in the evening to get a break. Next, the location: located walking distance to the town was great. The IGA and other restaurants provided all we needed and the location near the small airport provided a great place to visit for the kids. We were a 15 drive from anything on the island worth visiting such as Moran State Park (fresh water lake with a beach and play area), golf (the course isn't much but still fun round), Eastsound as mentioned above and the water itself. Finally the house and our host: Both were exactly what we needed. The house was cleaned professionally before our arrival and everything we needed (Wifi, rules of the house, etc) were clearly outlined. The BBQ was excellent as was the frisbee golf course and the tire swings. Some of the beds were 'soft' as per the reviews of my friends but it's an old house...what can you expect? Lots of room and a ton of fun. Thanks for a wonderful long weekend destination. Recommend for those who are looking to take 3-4 families away for a long weekend."

  • No better place for July 4th!

"For the second year in a row, we had an amazing trip to the Bay Inlet Beach Cottage for the July 4 holiday. The house is perfect - gorgeously rebuilt, efficient sized, and perfectly located - as the only house on the beach, you have tons of privacy, but walk up the steps and you're right in the middle of town! Easy access to coffee, ice cream, wine tasting, grocery, restaurants, and weekend farmers market. Lopez LOVES July 4, and the house is just next to the parade route. Best kept secret: you can see the fireworks from the living room windows! Lauren was on top of everything, very easy to work with. We'll be back!"

  • Was a great fit for our family!

"We had 9 people and the house worked great for us. We really liked the area it was in, especially walking down to the harbor to see the boats! The kitchen and living areas were spacious, plenty of hot water for everyone... really nothing to complain about! :)"

San Juan Islands Travel Tips

San Juan Islands Travel, off the Shore of Washington

The San Juan Islands are a popular destination off the coast of Washington for those looking for plenty of adventure and fun in the water. San Juan Islands travel should always include a tour of the islands and the resident plant and wildlife, as well as plenty of whale-watching and dinner cruises.

San Juan Islands Travel at Lopez Island

Lopez Island offers miles upon miles of bike paths and rolling hillsides with breathtaking views. Stay in San Juan Islands lodging along the coast and witness the multi-colored sunsets that are sure to bring some romance into your relationship. San Juan Islands resorts offer access to every other island in the region, too.

Choose San Juan Islands Lodging on Orcas Island

Named for the resident whale species, Orcas Island is the largest you’ll see during your San Juan Islands travel. Local artists offer unique ideas for souvenirs and gifts to take back home, and many farms in the area offer a day of learning about particular crops and harvesting processes. San Juan Islands lodging choices abound on this horseshoe-shaped island. You may choose to stay in San Juan Islands resorts on the water, or prefer a cottage located in the lush woodlands amongst the local wildlife.

See the Sights near San Juan Islands Resorts

Aside from whale-watching during your San Juan Islands travel, there are many rocky shores and lighthouses located along the shorelines. These lighthouses are easily seen from San Juan Islands lodging on the shores of San Juan Island. Choose a ferry or seaplane to take a tour of all the islands, or schedule a kayak or canoe tour with a larger group. Visitors to San Juan Islands resorts also enjoy Friday Harbor, a town known for its annual celebrations for all to enjoy.
