  • Perfect relaxing getaway

"My friends and I had a wonderful weekend away from the city. Although the lack of snow on Mt. Baker prevented us from skiing, that didn't stop us from having an amazing time at the cabin and exploring the surrounding area. The vast selection of movies, games, two barbecues, and hot tub kept us busy! The cabin slept seven very comfortably and it had a cozy feel. The guidebook offered was very helpful as we stopped in at Il Caffe Rifugio on Mt. Baker Hwy in Deming on the way home and had a fantastic meal. I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful time!"

  • Great location, cute place, everything you need.

"Cute, well-appointed cottage with everything you need (except facial tissue). Great location just a few minutes walk to town, including the fantastic Brown Bear Baking Co. Having the road in front of the cottage was no big deal. Very good windows block out the limited amount of noise. So nice to be able to walk across the street to the beach to collect shells with our daughter. Plenty of room to hang clothes. They provide shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Hair dryer, iron also provided. Washer and dryer. So, feel free to pack light. Appliances are all great, and they have every utensil/pot/pan you may need need to prepare a nice meal. We had geese in the back pond several times. There is a pair of binoculars for use. So many nice little touches. Very difficult to leave. Wonderful way to end the summer. We hope to return to explore the island a bit more. We didn't use the Outback, but it looked very nice."

  • Clean, secluded, and PERFECT.

"I'm not a big review writer but this property was my first VRBO experience and it was exceptional. It is very clean and has absolutely everything you could possibly need, from extra towels and soap to extra spices. I was a little disappointed that the main glass doors were locked and we weren't able to enter and exit through them. There aren't any grocery stores nearby so prepare for that and no cell phone service. The cell phone service definitely isn't missed but come with music for an ipod dock or your own movies for the dvd player. Overall, pictures don't do it justice. Great cabin and can't wait to return in the winter!"

  • Quiet retreat

"My wife and I rented this unit as a base for exploring the Puget Sound area. We spent one day in Vancouver, one on the Olympic peninsula, one in Anacortes, and several in Bellingham. We had to do some driving, but it was great to return to a quiet place to rest. The unit itself was clean and well-equipped. The fireplace was a nice bonus. Great views of the water and Mount Hood. We enjoyed walking and jogging on the low traffic roads in the area. The only negative was just one bathroom. Spoke to the owner once about a minor matter, and found her pleasant and responsive. We much enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again."
