  • Relaxing Visit

"We've visited Lopez Island many times over the years and at different times of the year. Our recent spring visit was the first in this beautiful home with a stunning view. During the wet days of our visit, we actually enjoyed staying inside! The home has water and garden views. There is plenty of room for everyone without getting into each other's way. The books and activities for kids, such as building blocks and books about the natural world, are thoughtfully edited towards curious explorers. Being located above the beach saved extra time in that we didn't have to pack the car to travel to a beach. We had a truly relaxing time--just what we wanted."

  • Wonderful weekend

"We stayed at the absolutely fabulous house to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday! We were there with our son and daughter in law. They live in Seattle and we in Texas. I cannot say enough nice things about this house! The location was very private and calming. We had planned on doing some sightseeing, but the house was so incredible we stayed there most of the time! We had already planned several meals out, but when I saw how well equipped the kitchen was, I wished I had planned to cook. The only thing that we found to be a little out of line of our expectations, was the lack of the little things- like no tissues, toilet paper at the end of the rolls, no soft soap for washing hands or showering. We found an almost empty container soap in one of the bathrooms and used that. Bought toilet tissue and tissues the next day. We found the owner extremely easy to deal with. I always like to talk to the people I rent from. She was very prompt with the paperwork! We have dreams of returning to this very SPECIAL home in the near future"

  • Gorgeous Island Retreat

"I've been vacationing on Lopez with family for the past 20+ years and our stay at the Channel House was far and away the best! The view and secluded beach can't be beat. The master bedroom suite and cozy living room below is an oasis when you want an escape from family. We enjoyed using the kayaks and playing badmitten in the huge yard. The 5 acres allowed plenty of room for our 3 Labradors to play and explore. The hot tub worked flawlessly and could hold 6 comfortably. Even when the weather turned, the collection of movies, games and WiFi kept us entertained for hours. The gas heat lamp on the porch and huge fire pit allowed us to relax for hours into the night. All the beds and furniture were very comfortable. Hope we can stay here again next summer!"

  • Just Like Home

"My family rented this beautiful home for the Thanksgiving holiday. We hosted various family and friends and had an amazing time in this spacious, comfortable home. This rental has every comfort of home you could possibly want, and our hosts were so attentive to what we would need to make our family's holiday celebration joyful. The home was tastefully decorated upon our arrival with fall & Thanksgiving decor. Both of the immaculate bathrooms are fully stocked with towels, complimentary toiletries, blow dryers, etc. The kitchen has all the tools you would need for a big holiday meal as well as linens and an array of dishes for entertaining. The beds were some of the most comfortable I have ever slept on away from home. My 3 year-old daughter was in playland heaven with the huge selection of children's toys and books available. The views from the home are serene and beautiful. I just cannot say enough good things about this rental home in beautiful Anacortes! You will not be disappointed if you stay here."
