Rainbow House in gorgeous setting
"Our second year staying here. It has everything an active traveller can ask for. Beautifully appointed, spacious, and situated in a breathtaking valley just a few miles from some of the best hikes in the North Cascades. Make sure to specifically request access to the attached laundry facilities if you need them.
Really do love this place!"

"Loved...loved...LOVED our stay at Timber Lodge earlier this month. It is truly a special place on Orcas Island, and was actually one of the highlights of our visit. Beautiful home located in a peaceful and quiet setting, amazing views and a large deck to enjoy the sunsets. And the amenities really can't be beat. Besides an incredibly well-stocked kitchen, there is home theater, game room and hot tub...it doesn't get much better than that! We arrived to music, a waterfall feature near the entrance, a welcoming lit interior lamp, and a visit from Richard, one of the owners, who graciously introduced us to our temporary vacation home for 5 glorious days. Additionally, Timber Lodge is conveniently situated near the town of Eastsound (restaurants, food, gas, museums, shops), Moran State Park (great hiking and views from the top of Mount Constitution) and Rosario Resort (kayak and boat rentals, whale watching tours, great little restaurant with stunning views). Thank you Richard and Lisa for sharing your Shangri-la! We hope to see you again.
Thank you Richard and Lisa for sharing Timber Lodge."

"My wife and I stayed at this cozy little house for 6 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed all the comforts of home and the surrounding yard was beautiful. The location was perfect...very quiet...kind of centralized for our activities. Mt Baker was relatively close as was Canada. I would recommend and come back to this little house any day. Trish was very friendly and we enjoyed picking the blueberries on the property...nothing like fresh blueberry pancakes in the morning."

"Our favorite couple and ourselves spent a wonderful long weekend at this property earlier this month. We had a GREAT time ! The house is beautiful, secluded, quiet and extremely comfortable. I'm lucky enough to be friends with the owner, so that personal connection was very helpful. Yet, even without that connection, the guide book on the dining room table explains all the features, as well as the dos and donts. Kitchen is well appointed and the photos, while accurate, don't do the place justice ! Highly recommend this property and this location. Thanks very much, Sue and Jim"
