  • Excellent place to stay

"We stayed here for 3 nights and chose the location for access to hiking trails near Mt. Baker and also easy access to Vancouver. We found the house very comfortable and complete with everything, nicely furnished and decorated. The yard is also very nice. The location is quite private as well. The owner's 2 dogs are friendly greeters."

  • Gorgeous Hand Built Palace!

"A lot of love has gone into this home. Built by the owners, it is hand crafting at its best. Even the furniture is built by hand. Everything we could need has been thought of. The kitchen had every possible convenience, there were even some special goodies awaiting us! Firewood was stacked outside for the fire pit, and hammocks strung. VERY PEACEFUL!"

  • Great little house on Orcas

"My husband and I along with our daughter spent two nights in this house for a quick getaway while visiting Seattle. The television did not work and a quick call to the owner left me with the impression that she knew about the problem before our arrival. If you plan to do any serious cooking, the kitchen is barely big enough for one person. Also, bring you own skillets because the ones provided need to be replaced. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, oils, and condiments. The water view was not what I expected after seeing the photos but Orcas is beautiful no matter where you stay. All in all we had a great time. The hot tub was an added bonus and very much enjoyed in the evenings while sipping a glass of wine. Also, very comfy beds. Perfect for a short getaway."

  • Great Time

"We had our staff retreat weekend at this beautiful home! The house is comfortable and nicely decorated. There was plenty of room for 8 adults. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and dishes. The dishwasher was a bonus! Despite the rain, we enjoyed walking on the beach and watching the fog roll in on the deck. A beautiful place to rent!"
